The walking dead amc #2

So, it is Glenn. Or Abraham because of the foreshadowing with his convo with Sasha and the hug with Eugene. Could be Eugene for that same hug scene. Or maybe Aaron since he was the only native Alexandrian there. I will say that the Negan actor was spot on!!!!

Wow, just wow.....not sure what I can post so putting thoughts in a spoiler! ETA: everyone else is posting so I will too, removing spoiler button! :)
I am so disappointed and beyond ticked at AMC right now!
After all the hype, the finale consisted of more commercials than actual show....ending with a cliffhanger?! What a total "cop out" to all of the loyal fans.
Personally, I didn''t find Negan "chilling", "scary" or anything else for that matter.
They played the whole scene out too long and then to give fans nothing..... ARGH, I just want to break all my crayons and even kick the cat (if I had one), so mad....

I think it's Aaron. If you watch the talking dead in slow motion the person hit over the head had a white under shirt, dark shirt, and dark jacket with a white collar.

I stopped watching after last year's finale. Tuned in tonight and I don't regret my decision. Wow, a trip to the dentist is more fun!

I think it was a good but not great episode, the Negan intro was really well done and the acting was fantastic.

It bites that Eugene couldn't have his moment either. They are all, "you can do it Eugene " and he so didn't. Where's the development of character?
AND I hate the whole story line with Carol-it just doesn't fit to me. For that matter everyone walking away from Alexandria like that... just wouldn't happen. Blah all around. And I'm kinda surprised I just don't really care who got killed tonight.

I'm done. Their constant use of cliffhangers means that the writers don't have any clue what they're doing the next season, and I got sucked into LOST! once. Not again. From now on it's the comics only for me.

Negan was amazing. I was actually chuckling at some of his lines (am I demented? Lol) and would have overlooked 45 minutes of commercials, road trip gone wrong, boring Carol and Morgan for a satisfying ending. I'm definitely in the hate to love Negan, he is a great character!

So we won't see you back next season?

DD, who read the comics, said "Negan is supposed to be a BIG guy and this guy isn't". His acting was good. But he is a little guy and he talked way too much.

Yeah, I thought they may switch it up at first, but the more I think about it, the more I think they will stay true to this iconic moment in the comics and it will actually propel another characters storyline onward.

Agree. Something they said on TD tonight too about who died and "what it makes everyone into, how the world changes for everybody..." My money's on Glen. But I hope I'm wrong because I like his character a lot.

That was one of the worst season finales ever. I thought the whole Glenn debacle was bad-they were just setting everyone up for an even bigger helping of garbage. Instead of #WhoIsIt I'm gonna go with #WhoGivesACrap.

I was sure Negan was going to try to make them choose who he was going to beat. And do we even know if the person is actually dead or just beat to a pulp and will, of course, survive.....?

This season was disappointing. I've not missed a single show in the series, but it was getting harder and harder to work up the enthusiasm to watch it.

Geez, what a bunch of whiney cry-babies you all are!! IT'S A SEASON FINALE!!!! The majority of shows like this have cliffhanger endings. Since you didn't get your way, it's pee pee pants city. I thought it was a very good ending, especially as you see the hope drain from Rick a little bit at a time.

It was also fun to watch Norman Reedus get embarassed on TD. Didn't know red came in that shade.

I was also a bit bored with the whole Carol thing. I think her character is becoming unlikable and weak. The think fans love about her is how she became so strong and overcame so much. When she left Alexandria it was like a child storming off for attention or something. IDK, I just don't like what they are doing with her character.

Nope. I'm done. My wife will probably continue to watch it, but I have better ways to waste my time. This was the most anticlimactic season-ending episode yet.

Agreed. This Negan is *not* intimidating in the slightest. I made a crack that he's monologuing. Biggest fail yet in a season of fails.

For those who say they always end in cliffhangers, they don't. Last season was not a cliffhanger. We saw what Rick did and we saw Morgan appear. That was no cliffhanger. It gave a bit of closure while opening another can of worms. Big difference. This episode was as lazy as lazy gets.

Didn't we also see Hershal get beheaded in a finale...instead of leaving a cliff hanger. They left us with that and everyone was...'woah, what the heck, I am so upset, what's going to happen now?'. Last night, however, they gave us nothing. Just 80 minutes of them driving around to avoid roadblocks and then Negan's long winded speech and fade to black. Lazy writing, IMO.
