The walking dead amc #2

This bears repeating...

Me personally, I'd rather it be Daryl than Glenn. But I think it will be Glenn and part of the Abraham trio.

My money's on Glenn to get killed by Negan. They already did the death fake-out scene with the dumpster, which I thought was totally cheap, but they keep raising the stakes for him (reminding us about his marriage with Maggie and their baby, etc.) and they always do that right before someone dies. I'm bummed about it, though. The group needs Glenn to be the voice of hope and optimism.

Kind of spoiler-ish below (comic book reference):

I also read something about the actress who plays Maggie cut her hair. Apparently in the comics, Maggie cuts her hair after Glenn is killed. I am kind of surprised the folks at WD let her walk around with short hair (she was on TD and did indeed have short hair) knowing it would be a spoiler. They seem kind of strict with not giving away story lines. I could see them making her wear a wig so it would not give anything away. Now, obviously this does not mean Glenn is killed, they could have her character cut her hair for a different reason entirely. I personally think Glenn is safe.

I really like Glen and the humanity he brings to the group but I have to agree with @lovin'fl that I think it will be him and one other (Rosita?). Have not read the comics but the Negan storyline is pretty much out there at this point.

I really didn't like Maggie's change of character in this last episode. I can't put my finger on what it was that was bothering me - a suppressed smirk? a forced seductress type of attitude? I don't know, she just seemed different in the scenes at the Hilltop mansion. Anyone else get that feeling?

According to her comments on the Talking Dead it seems there is a change coming for her with her taking more of a leadership role within their group.

I liked the episode. Here are my general musings.

I know it's a fake show about a zombie world (so suspension of disbelief etc..), but how is it that Gregory's group and Nagen's have never run into the Alexandrians before? I mean they've been there from the start, DaJesus's group is only a days car ride away and Nagen seems to field his guys pretty far and wide. I find this hard to believe.

They guy they took with them from Gregory's group is going to start some kind of trouble, that's pretty clear.

I was expecting the RV to get crashed into when they were looking at the sonogram picture.

I hope it's not Rosita that gets it in the fight with Nagen. The Abraham/Sasha/Rosita story line could make it interesting.

Does anyone else think Jesus has nice hair? How did he manage to find a hair straightener during the zombie apocalypse?

Is there any speculation of when Negan will first show up? My friend is of course very nervous for her favorite character. She had read the comics and didn't remember there being a lot of things happening between hilltop introduced and the intro to Negan. I know many have thought season finale but what could they be filling prior to that?

Negan isn't supposed to be there until the finale. I do think that 4 episodes between now and the finale seem like a lot. I was thinking the same thing...what could possibly happen before then.

I was also wondering the same, especially because in the previews for next week's episode, it looked like they were sneaking into the Savior's compound. They could have been doing recon or we could see them encounter other members of the group over the next few episodes, but it looked like their infiltration starts in the next episode.

I'm guessing they will run into the guy who stole Daryls bike and bow on a recon mission. Heck to pay on that score still!

Plus Maggie said there will be a price to pay. I thought that might be foreshadowing.

Did anyone else see the new clip for next week? Where Maggie and Carol get taken by Negan? It's Maggie. After all that heart strings with the ultrasound picture last week, and talking about how they're building something and getting Abraham all smiley....Plus Rick telling her she's going to have a bigger role and then her saying (as you said) there will be a price to pay, I think Maggie is the one Lucille gets.

Besides, no way they have another baby thing going on on that show, one's tough enough to work around. AND they had Maggie on TD last week, maybe it was a red herring to make us feel she was safe, they wouldn't have her on two weeks in a row!!!

Oh no, I bet you are right. No, I will NOT like that. I think my DDs-17 will never watch again if that happens.
