Well, I woke up today with a killer headache. I was trying to do my hair for work, but it felt like I was being stabbed in the eye and repeatedly whacked in the head with a baseball bat. So, I sent Melissa a text message to tell her I was taking a sick day, so here I am.
Speaking of my hair, I'm sure y'all wanna hear a hair story, right?
So yesterday, I was feeling really good. It was the first day in about a month and a half that I didn't have a headache (I'm paying for that today). After work, I stopped at my usual hair salon. My usual girl wasn't there, so I went with one of the guys instead.
Most of my hair is now my natural color, which is JET BLACK. I got most of the over processed junk cut out when I got it all chopped off. But I've been getting it highlighted. I started off with magenta highlights, which I got done twice. I realized they don't stay in for more than two weeks. Then, I had it purple. I really liked the purple, and that stayed for about a month.
Since Rosey wasn't there with my purple yesterday, I told Ryan to just give me blonde highlights, and make them as blonde as he can get them.
When he was done, he made my hair completely straight. I love it! I'm not the kind of person to stay with one color for too long, but I think I might keep this one awhile.
Now, for the bad part of all this.
Y'all know how Joe goes out and does whatever he wants whenever he wants, right? If I go out and do anything, and don't let anybody know ahead of time exactly where I am and what time I'll be home, I've got all the in-laws calling me to find out where I am. Yesterday, it started with my MIL. Then my SIL. Finally, at 4:30 (which is about 1/2 hour later than I usually come home), Joe called me. Well, I didn't pick up any of the phone calls. How are you supposed to talk on the phone with foils on your head or while you're getting rinsed?
I still have the text messages I got from him. Here's some nasty stuff. I'll even put in the spelling errors for ya (even though they irritate the heck outta me).
Him: U wanna tell me y u cant call me back or maybe cause your to busy doing something else
Me: Actually I am.
Him: Whats that surely cant be working
Me: At least you know I'm coming home at some point.
Him: Ya right what ever
Him: There's no way your still at work so what your telling me is that your at a bar
Me: No, I'm not you.
Him: Yep me and the kids are getting drunk
Him: So where are ya then 2 nights in a row your late that doesnt happen (I didn't make it home from work until 6 the night before and I WAS working)
Me: Why don't you ask Melissa or Sharon why I was late yesterday.
Him: U still havnt answered my question
Me: When I get home you will figure out where I was, and then I expect an apology.
I got home at about 5:30. At about 10:30, I finally got my apology, but not before he told me it was my fault, and I should always let him know if I'm going somewhere.: He also told me that my hair looked really nice. I think I'm going to have to change it now.
