Hey, Mommom! I'm so sorry to hear about your phone. I have Verizon and haven't had any problems at all. Finally got my family to switch too which is great so we can all talk w/o charges!

Good luck with Alltel...hopefully, you don't have too much longer on the contract...they sure do know how to stick you though!

I have 14 months left on the Alltel contract so if I just paid it out as the girl suggested that would be $1400 and that's insane, she then said well it would be cheaper to just pay off the early cancellation fee of $175, yea I guess it would but don't want to pay it at all because they have crap service here, bad signals, lots of dropped calls and can't change over to a local number, she said well that's not our fault it's yours for moving, like I had a choice. I'm going to try again today and get a manager, I hope.

I wanted AT&T as my family has that but it won't work when I go back to Louisiana when this job is over as I tried it before so took Verizon. I like them, never had problems with them before and I had them for years!!!

Hmmmm! A baby boy. Ah! I hope Stephanie has a girl. We have made peace. On her birthday. I sent her a gift, she is supposed to have an ultrasound sometime this month and they should be able to tell the sex then.

Hey Michelle...how you been? After reading Betsy's post it seems you have cancelled your trip. Now I have to go back and read and see if I can find why?

If you or anyone else want to do a Reader's Digest version of what I've missed it sure would be nice and make life so much easier for a lazy slacker like me! LOL!!

I already posted on my threads but I wanted to let y'all know that my Grandmother passed on yesterday. She's home now, with God. It's very sad but I know that she'll never be in pain again.

Cheri, I am so so very sorry to hear about your grandmother's passing. That is so sad. She always sounded like such a feisty vibrant person. I know she is at peace now and out of pain and as hard as that is to accept, she's in a better place. My deepest sympathy and my love and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless You all!

I'm loving the idea of relaxing and romantic. Also on the plus side for me we are going to be going to Mt Lassen while we are at Burney Falls. Which means playing in the snow while wearing shorts. There is snow on Mt Lassen year round. I love that area of California.

Hey Michele, the cabin looks great. I love cabins and camping, it's so much fun. I think you made the right choice, you and DH can have a really nice cozy romantic time alone in that cabin but when it comes to Disney, that's a family affair!!!! I'm probably the only one old enough to remember that show, "Family Affair!"

bummer! I'd definitely try to fight it...maybe you can get them to agree to 1/2 of the fee?

I'm still fighting our whole furniture thing. It's been 2 months now. Our credit card finally gave us a temporary credit but if Kincaid Furniture Company disagrees, then MasterCard said they would prob have to take the credit back. UGH.

Good Morning Everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been here in a while. I am so busy trying to work all day at a temp job and then come home and work all evening at the work at home job that I just haven't been able to get on the DIS. I want to keep the work at home job because when this temp job is done I'll need to have that to fall back on for some cash and I want to have it when we leave here for the same reason. So I have to do at least a minimum amount of hours to keep the job!!! I miss you all and think of you all daily and will "try" to get on some soon.

Did Sharky tell you my cell phone fell in the toilet and died? It drowned and no amount of CPR would bring it back. I went and got a new phone from a new provider as my provider isn't working well here anyway and now when I went to cancel my old service they tell me I can't or will have to pay the penalty. I want to say bite me but can't so have to figure out something as I am paying for a service I can't use without a phone and besides that it was constant dropped calls, poor signal, poor quality calls!

I haven't meant to be pulling a disappearing act but it keeps happening! Things here are busy and DH has been needing the laptop at night. I would rather him work here and be around us than going to the office so I'm always happy to give up the PC!
