So just you and DH would go to the cabin? That could be very romantic!

Although I like Disney as a couple or even by myself, there's something extra special when you go with family. Disney is just made for families.

Either way you'll have a great time with DH!

I know I was thinking about the romantic part. And I am thinking about although I would have fun with my husband at Disneyland I would miss the kids terribly. I am watching the Olympic's too. I am so loving them.

If you really think you will not have a good time there without them, then I guess I would cancel.


However, I would pick a date, I think ya said, in June, for your family trip next year.


I think ya might still a bit down from cancelling your DL trip and that will make it feel more real

I think you're right Sharky. But I am getting really excited about camping. The last few times we went camping I was too sick to really enjoy myself. And although we are going to stay in the cabin it is at one of my absolute favorite campgrounds.

We are all okay here on the west coast. I am thinking about cancelling Disneyland in favor of renting a cabin at one our favorite places.

I am just thinking if I save more money then we can go as a family in June after the kids get out of school. I think that would be better. I starting have real guilt pangs because Disneyland has been our family place for a lot of years.

Don't feel guilty! I think you should still go to DL. It's the one place you can be submerged into happyness. But the cabin place looks nice too. Either way I think you'll have fun.

I'm loving the idea of relaxing and romantic. Also on the plus side for me we are going to be going to Mt Lassen while we are at Burney Falls. Which means playing in the snow while wearing shorts. There is snow on Mt Lassen year round. I love that area of California.

I love camping and the cabin makes it an in between camping and a hotel. I really enjoy that area. And I hate to sound awful but my cell phone won't work there. The family will still be able to get a hold of us but the cell phones won't get constant ringing.
