It was OK. It sounds like Huey had fun. You know I ead about how you want Huey to have the afternoon class. We had it with all three kids and it is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. I'll keep you in prayers on that. It never hurts to ask. And you know it probably wouldn't hurt to let the school know what you want too.

Yeah, he had a good time.

When I registered him, I did let them know and I put my request in writing for afternoon classes detailing my reasons.

I let them know when I signed the kids up too. I loved the afternoon classes so I didn't have to fight them in the morning. And I found that by the time they started first grade they were read to go in the morning.

Mine is half not good in mornings and other half babysitting reason

Kindergarten is all day, so that will work perfect if at same job.

Drop him off, go to work and when I was done, be time to pick him up


This 2 and half hrs is just such a pain. But I know it is better than putting them in full time right away. They need time to adjust, especially kids who have never been in daycare of nursery school before, like him

It started this morning around 10am. When I woke up, I thought it was like 3 in the morning

Pouring so hard, thundering and lightning, looked like a river outside


We were under tornado watch.


So, it stopped for a few hrs around 5 and now started back up again


I love storms, but do not like tornado watch thing....

It hIt was yellow and green and red, the sky that is, so freaking bright


Maybe eye of the tornado???

But it is back to being dark again, thank god.


That brightness freaked me out

That is not fun at all. We don't get thunder very often so when we do it can be really freaky.

ok so i went back and skimmed some of what went on over the weekend.

Sharky and Chele ~ November DLand trip sounds good to me

Orangie ~ I am praying that this change in your job does not mean that they are looking to get rid of you. Doesn't sound like it to me though. I'd think if they were going to do that they wouldn't go through all the trouble of making all those changes.

That's really all I caught while I was skimming back to where I had been trying to catch up before. I'll have to go back and really read everything again.

I know, it's probably pointless to even try at this point since I have a whole week worth of stuff to catch up on still plus going back and re-reading everything I just skimmed over the weekend. **sigh**

Quilt retreat was great. Fun but a little too long. This was the first time they did one for 7 days like that...normally it's only 5 days which I think that'd be plenty. I was exhausted when I got home but it was great. I'll try and post some pictures tonight. I hope my internet is running a bit faster tonight.

I'm not sure I'll shoot her a txt and see if I get a response.
