well....good luck with that! If we didn't have any car notes, (with well-working cars) I'd go for it. For now, unfortunately we have to pass. Maybe if this year's promotion is well-received (and it sounds like it has been) then they will do it again in a couple years.

What a day it has been! I can't wait til 4:00! And I thought YESTERDAY was bad. Even Wednesday with the auditors was not as bad.

I guess this work week has just sucked all around. Thankfully this was also the one week when Mike didn't have any closing shifts! He definitely helped me feel better in the evenings. And I had dinner waiting for me when I got home yesterday! That was really cool!

Love -- DVC will always have another special out there...particularly as AKV starts to fill up, they may offer everyone even more to finish the sales. We got SSR with $8/pt off and developer points...no gift card...so it seems like they are starting to offer more now anyway.

Kaoden -- Yes, they have DVC at DL. I hear it's going to be tight to get in since they are only having like 50 rooms (don't quote me on that...).

The next two official DVCs are DL and Hawaii. I can't wait to trade my points to use either one of these...but we have to wait until the kiddies grow up a bit...too long a flight.

Yeah, it definitely helped us that DH was the one to suggest it for us...I never truly even thought of it...but really, if you plan to go a lot, all you are doing is paying now for later...with our 2 trips we are almost 1/2 way in having it pay for itself...we figure 3 more trips and then it will be like all the future trips are free!!

Yes, we bought direct from Disney. However, if money is the real thing, then you probably will be able to get it cheaper on resales, esp if you want one of the "original" resorts -- BCV, Bdwk, VWL, OKW...just remember those expire about 15 years sooner, so you have to balance the points with the years left.

You can even find SSR and AKV on resales, too.

You may find that just taking a smaller contract on the resales is a better way to go...then just take a trip every 3 years (bank and borrow your points so you can still stay a week)...then if you really like it, buy more points.

On the resale boards you can find contracts for few points (i.e., less money) which works well if you don't plan to go every year anyway.

Thanks Carla. I am not sure what I did! But I do have an idea. DO NOT tell Tomato because he would never let me live it down.... but I think I dissed too much last week! The spot is right next to my my right shoulder blade and it radiates up into my neck. That is my mouse arm! I seriously think I sat here with my hand reached out to the mouse for too long! I know you are all laughing right now! I am too.... and it hurts. I almost can't believe I am sitting here in this much pain just so I can tell you all this! I need help.

That is the attractive thing about resales... no 160 point minimum. I'd love to go every year but my DH is an every other year kinda guy. So really we don't need 160 points.

I am seeing all the resorts on the resale site! I was suprised to see AKV especially. I'm also seeing OKW WITH the 15 year extension! Okay... you just decided to add 15 years (and it wasn't cheap!) and now you are selling? I guess you just never know.
