The kids slept in really late today. We almost didn’t make it to breakfast (which closes at 11.) We closed the buffet this morning.

John, Tom and I planned a surprise concert for the kids tonight but had to go to DTD to get tickets yet. So we gathered the kids, under the premise of going shopping, and headed to downtown Disney.

We parked near Cirque and went to the HOB ticket office for tonight’s Lola Ray/Lost Prophets show. It’s funny how ticket prices work…the show was $15 each and cost me $80 for 4 tickets, you do the math-I did!

The best part was, while we were buying the tickets, the kids went into the Virgin mega store and ran into some of the band members! How cool is that! My two are avid music fans so they knew who these guys were by sight. The band members were really cool, they talked for so long that when we did the meet and greet after the show my kids were spoken to by name! (A totally unforgettable moment for any teenager!)

We went back to the hotel for some pool/arcade time and went back to DTD around 6.

After all this, it was back to SOG and another good nights sleep…

Your family is definitely cooler than mine! I never heard of either of those bands. But how great for the kids to get some personal attention from them. The picture of Adrian chatting with one of the singers is a great shot.

It's nice that John and I and my BIL enjoy going with the kids.

I am soooo glad I ran back to the car to get my camera out-my kids are so into their music these photos are priceless to them...
