Lori: "He had like a Phyllis 2. That's why he was so insane. Except it wasn't a Phyllis 2 exactly, it was like he was corrupted. I was never told about it, but I know it happened a long time ago, when something happened to him. No one ever brings it up though, but my Aunt Bethany said that he used to be super nice."

I was never told about it, but I know it happened a long time ago, when something happened to him. No one ever brings it up though, but my Aunt Bethany said that he used to be super nice."

Georgie: She nodded, still clutching her head.

Alec: "So, if we're dead, how have we ended up here? I thought dead people became ghosts, like Eris did."

Lori: "Well, technically speaking here, not everyone from our time ends up a ghost. I'm pretty sure there's a neutral place where we can all live like normal, but we're dead. This is it."

Lori: She lowered her voice. "It's not just us. I'm not saying that I have everything figured out, but not everyone here is from Hogwarts. Not from my time. Like that girl Marcelline over there, I don't think she's from Hogwarts. I'm pretty sure that I'm probably very mistaken, but I would've known if she were. She looks roughly the same age as Chris." She sighed. "I just-" she stopped. "I'm lost. And Chris and Ivan probably aren't looking for me. I always knew this day was coming. I knew that one day they'd be so absorbed into their lives that they'd forget all about me and not come when I need them most."

And if Chrissy is sobbing over your body, it just means he isn't sobbing over mine. I wish for a chair." One appeared and she slumped down into it, putting her face in her hands.

Lori: Lori sat with her legs pulled up to her chest and trying not to cry. She wanted to put on a brave face.

Alec: Alec watched both girls and put a comforting hand on Mari's shoulder.

Alec's wife wasn't too good at the sympathy thing, so he sort of knew a little how to deal with stress. Alec just didn't know what to do if you find out you're dead and will never see your family again.
