Yes, but your Club ID, that you needed to set up access to the member website and to MagicMobile on your phone? How many Club ID numbers do you have?
Oh…. no idea… since I already had a log-in with my Aulani membership the points just magically appeared on my DVC website…

I've always been a bit confused about the different numbers? My wife an I purchased three contracts in one transaction and never added on. We are listed on the DVC website as "Purchaser" and "Additional Purchaser."

We share a single 12-digit Membership ID that appears on each of our membership cards.

We each have a club ID which is a 7+1 digit number (e.g. 1234567.1 and 1234567.2 - so same 7 digits for each). I cannot find these numbers anywhere on the website, and though I have them recorded on a spreadsheet that I've kept since we joined in 2009, I'm not sure where I found the numbers in the first place. I guess it was in the paperwork when we originally purchased.

We own three contracts at VGC of 160 points each, so a total of 480. Each has its own 8+1 digit number.

To confuse things further, there is a link on the website to "Add New Membership Number." Not that I have anything to add, but when I click it, it asks for "Your Club ID." And what's the difference, really? It almost seems like the website is using them interchangeably, so aren't they sort of redundant?

Relating to the question of "how many of us are there," how would you count us? One membership, two owners, three contracts.

Given the Disney's low reported number of 3,399, I would guess that your situation would count as one "club member". If it were counting contracts, then the average contract would need to be 300+ points which doesn't seem possible. Looking at the resale listings now, there is only one 300 point contract and it is the largest one for sale.

I read elsewhere that if you own two different use years, you would then count as 2 "club members".

I know I’m at 400 points….

I think the average contract amount around 150 makes sense but I think a lot of VGC probably have multiple contracts. So then that lower amount of owners would make sense maybe.

I will be staying 1 night next Tuesday in a studio. I have only been in 1 bedrooms. I will see if I like the smaller space, was really nice to have extra bathroom but for 1 night I could handle having to share with family

You may not like that the VGC rooms are in need of an update and still have a pull-out couch instead of a more comfortable murphy bed. But for just one night it will probably be okay.

I don't even know what a Club ID is...ha! Same thing as a membership number?

I'm still unsure if there's anything special I need to do on the apps or anything before our first visit.

Club ID is a different number from the Membership ID. I still don't yet understand why they are different. But here's what I do notice.
  • My DVC membership card shows my Membership ID.
  • My profile on the DVC website shows my Membership ID with no sign of my Club ID.
  • My profile on the My Disney Experience site and app show my Club ID with no sign of my Membership ID.
I meant to add... before you visit, you should print out a copy of your membership card from the DVC website, or save a copy of it on your phone. If you want to take advantage of any DVC benefit, you'll need that.

Can we please get the DVC stuff to work just with the Disneyland app and not have to deal with the WDW app….

Hmm. I'll have to look for it. Is it only located on the WDW app? I'm so freaking clueless. Ha!

Yea, i was wondering the same... I bought resale (BRV) and it is something like 1234567 and now that i bought a 2nd contract (VGC) it has added the .1 or -1 etc. So what happens to the -1 if i sell the first one? Does the -1 go away or it just stays as a -1?
And what if i bought another in the same UY, does it get a -2 or does it revert back to no -#. And what would happen to the BRV number, i assume it gets changed to match whoever the buyer is & what else they may own?

Not that it matters, its a Disney thing, just curious.

I added the DVC card to my Apple Wallet and can pull it up directly from there so I don’t have to log-in to the WDW app while in the park…

I really wish they could just connect it to our magic bands, but they can’t because DVC-Y members would just give them to non-members to use…. the world would be so much simpler if people just took personal responsibility for things and didn’t try to constantly find little ways to break the rules….

Club ID is a unique number, assigned after initial purchase, and used to set up account on the DVC website. It is not the same as membership number.
I have 6 UY’s, hence 6 different membership numbers. Each membership has multiple contracts. And still only one unique club ID.

Under profile on both MDE and DL app, the club ID is shown.

Even at WDW, they want to see the magic mobile added to iPhone wallet (and whatever the Android version is), not MDE. They want to see that DVC Y.
Same at Aulani.

Which is music to my ears. Everywhere we go, whether it’s DLR, WDW, or Aulani, they are asking to see the wallet version with DVC-Y, and it tells me we’re finally starting to see consistency company-wide..
