The View - anyone watching?

I agree - I'm all for free speech. My problem with her is that SHE doesn't allow anyone else to express THEIR view - she talks loudly over them.

Did you watch the show today? I didn't see her talking over people anymore than anyone else. Anytime you get 4 women discussing something someone's going to get interrupted. Even the guest co-host, Marcia Gay Harden, was able to step into the discussion several times. That doesn't happen often. All four women today were able to talk today. Rosie always talks more because she's the MODERATOR.

To be honest, a lot of times I wonder if Elisabeth's opinions she expresses truly are what she feels or if it's either an issue of keep up the disagreement for ratings or an "I got a Christmas card from GWB and an invitation to the White House so I'll toe the good little Rebublican line so those keep coming" thing.

Oh I totally agree. Even today Rosie asked her flat-out if she still trusted the government. Elizabeth couldn't even answer the question. She didn't want to say "no".

It's sad that sometimes there is still the "Disagree with this administration = Unpatriotic Traitor" sentiment in this country.

I'm a partyless moderate. I'd never think someone who disagreed with any administration is an unpatriotic traitor. I have a real problem with anyone on the right or left who gets so caught up in politics that they're consumed with hate. There are people on both fringes who are happy that Elisabeth Edwards and Tony Snow are ill and have actually wished death on them. That is so beyond comprehension to me.

Everyone has their own opinions, and mine is that Rosie has crossed that line. To support in any way that this administration bombed the twin towers on 9/11 to bring them down or there were missiles that hit the Pentagon (don't know what she said, but she's linked to 9/11 conspiracy theory sites before on her site, and now talking about a network cover-up, I'm going to take an educated guess as to how she really feels)...if I REALLY believed that I would be living in Canada because it's too late to save this country.

Has this administration lied to me about things? I have no doubt. I don't doubt the last one did and the one before that. That is a big difference between that and our government was pulling the strings behind 9/11.

Yes, but I don't remember the details. I thought there was a problem when her show ended, I could be wrong. And I seem to remember a legal battle with her magazine.

You are wrong about the show, Rosie ended it because she wanted to. Warner Brothers who produced the show tried to get her to stay but there was no legal action involved. Rosie's contract was up and she was tired of it.

The magazine deal was with McCall's - they changed the name to Rosie and told her she'd have editorial control and then got upset with her. McCall's sued and Rosie counter sued - the judge told them both to grow up and threw it out.

I do kind of feel bad for Elizabeth sometimes. It's always 3 against 1. But other times, I find it funny.

You're correct. She said she has suspicions about Tower 7. She didn't say she thinks the government blew it up, but that the collapse didn't make sense to her. They even talked about getting an expert on the show to talk about it. I wonder if they will.

I saw the View today, My wife watches it everyday and since I work in the Kitchen with the TV it can't be ignored. Before the Show was over I had fired off an E-Mail to ABC to remove her from the show. Today was just awfull for her to say that someone blew up Building 7. I watched the coverage that day with the rest of America and saw that building burn all day before it collapsed. I know it is called the View, but it is not ONLY Rosie's View. She is a Pig, a Liar, A loudmouth Bully, But most of all she is a child. No one can talk without her making faces. Did you see the faces she made when Elizabeth Hasselback was talking. A few weeks ago when Elizabeth Hasselback was given her view Rosie told her to stop Blabbering.

But of course now the British are partners with us to wage war with IRAN. She refers this to the Gulf of Tonkin. And of Course, ABC controls and the other 3 control the media, I wonder where the ABC sensors were today with a rants about ABC. And I guess they are very happy with her saying that the American Dream Show is Terrible and should be replaced with the Donny and Marie Show.

How many times does she have to remind the viewers a show that her mother died when she was 10. She is fixated on her mothers death from 34 years ago. And of course we have to know that she is Gay, A wish Ellen Degenerous would give her a lesson on how to run a successfull talk show

She has to go. I think they should find an abandoned building somewhere put her in it. Set it in fire and see if steel does melt. I really don't feel bad about saying this about her, If she can wish cancer on somebody, I can wish her to test her theories on herself.

She didn't say someone blew it up. She said it collapsed suspiciously and wants to invite physics experts on the show to discuss it.

And she knows how to run a successful talk show. She had one for six years and she's causing the View's ratings to skyrocket. Five pages of talking about Rosie and the View today. This is one of many threads concerning that show. How often do you see people discussing Ellen's show? (Not to put down Ellen's show because it's a different type of show and is enjoying it's own success.)

That is such a cop out... Seriously. So she says she can't buy, or "doesn't know" what happened on Sep. 11th, but isn't pointing the finger (in so many words) at the Government?!?!? OK, let stop and examine the world of "non-official" explainations out there. I've watched videos produced by other people who say that are "just looking for the truth" about 9/11 or "just have questions" and read their materials. The universe of alternatively explainations offered by "those that don't except the 'official' story" fall into two categories:
1) It was BushMcChimpyHitler.
2) It was "The Jews".

So is Rosie about to open up a third school of thought on this one? Does she suspect the Mafia? Aliens? A mass halucination? What's she dancing around?

rosie is a true patriot and knows this country needs to change to survive. she deserves a medal as far as i'm concerned. we can't take too much more of the shrub and his cronies ruining our country.

she holds the repugs feet to the fire and i luv her for it.

i'm proud she's on my side and i can't wait til she gets her own show. abc won't be firing her for telling the truth. the shrub doesn't control abc like he does faux news. the truth is out there...... open your eyes and find it.

I usually will be the first to say that Rosie needs to learn when to shut up. But, there is just something that keeps me watching it to see what kind of explosive thing she's going to say next - yesterday when she said "Coming up we will be talking politics" (or something to that effect, you get the picture), I squirmed in my seat because I knew she was about to stir the pot. It's pretty comical - on one end of the table you have the extremely conservative Elizabeth and on the other you have the extremely liberal and out-spoken Rosie. Two peas in a pod, LOL!
