Hello,

Just went on the Disney Wonder and I'm not impressed at The Vibe at all. It was so small and didn't seem to have much activities. Looked a little on the website about The Vibe on the Fantasy and it didn't seem that impressive either. The kids clubs seem to be much better for the younger kids and the teenagers. Those of you that have Tweens, what did you think about The Vibe when you visited it? Just wondering if I'm the only one that felt this way. Thanks!!

May i ask who was the cruise director for your Sailing? Idk if that directly affect the amount of activities at the Vibe specifically, we were disappointed in amount of adult activities during our last sailing on the Wonder, cruise director was Darren

Don’t remember the name of the cruise director. We were so busy on the ship with lots to do with the family. Didn’t really enjoy the adults only portions of the ship but the adult pool looked relaxing and less crowded every time we walked by. My complaint is the kids club called The Vibe. It seemed very small with very little activities.

So you didn't actually experience it, you just saw it on an open house walk-through or something?

Most reports are that teens love it - they seem to like the downtime as well as the organized events that may or may not be announced. It seems from reports that going the first night is pretty vital for the kids to get to know each other. My impression has always been that the organized "big event" things decrease as the kids get older - teens are generally more into socializing and stuff than making flubber or baking such as you'll find in the kids' clubs.

A lot of the activities for the Vibe group are done in other places around the ship. The kids in the Oceaneer's club don't leave the club, so it just makes sense that there has to be more things in the club for them to do. Plus there are a lot more younger kids on the ships than older kids.

Are you talking about Vibe (teen club ages 14-17) or Edge (tween club ages 11-14)?

Here are some examples of Vibe (14-17) activities that take place outside of the club.
Zombified- a zombie movie that the teens make with a CM; filming takes place over a few days; filming takes place in the teen club in addition to the sports deck
  • Zombified: A big-shot Hollywood producer is putting the final touches on his latest picture, Zombified. Teens are invited to pitch in by performing as zombies in several scenes. Grateful, the producer throws a Hollywood-style premiere party to celebrate!
Gotcha- a major game across the entire ship where teens (and a Tweens in the tween version) choose a codename and then are assigned a person to find on the ship and "Get" them in one of multiple ways including touching them with a paper spoon, pouring a cup of water on their head (top deck only), writing the word poison on a cup or plate then having the victim eat/drink it or high-fiving. A picture of a cruise staff member is also provided each day and if the teen finds them they get bonus points

  • Gotcha: Play the ultimate game of elimination! Armed with a code name and an arsenal of “gotcha” methods, teens spend the day tagging out their competition throughout the ship in creative and cunning ways. Who will win bragging rights as the ultimate victor?
Pizza Perfection/ Anyone Can Cook: Pizza- In Cabanas the teens answer trivia to gain toppings and make pizzas then cook them in Pinnochio's.

Like I said these are just a few examples, but it shows that the teens have activities across the ship

Our kids liked it, but there is so much other stuff to do they didn't really spend a lot of time there. I do believe they did some sports/games outside the club. Also i suggest your kids go the first day to make friends as they tend to form little cliques early on.
