I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. I do understand how you feel. I just lost my lucy kitty to kidney disease. Please, I encourage you to come visit the pet loss web site. Not that there are not caring people here (because there certainly is!), but this site is specifically for the purpose of people who have sick pets and people who have lost pets. It is the pet loss site that is helping me work through all my pain and grief with my Lucy.

I'm so very sorry. I kind of know how you feel. We lost a sweet cat suddenly due to asthma and she was about the same age as yours. There was nothing we could do but it was still so frustrating.

my dog has liver cancer and I so understand what you are going through. He is taking Hills prescription LD dog food and the supplement Denosyl (sp?).

So very sorry to read this, phorsenuf, so sad, always, and seems so young indeed. And for you also, WilmaBud and Disney-Kim, so tough it is. We too, with Vince's 4 year old Doc, are going through this with lymphoma. We all must remember though, that Rainbow Bridge.
