The Verburgh's return to pop

First let me Introduce you to My Gang
Me The DAD Peter My DW Jeannette My DD6 Sara And My Dmil Gail Smith
Please bare with me as this is my first real attempt at a trip report

We decide that instead of getting up at 3am and driving the 6hrs the day of our flight from Portland Me That I would take Friday off from work and make the drive Friday afternoon after My DD gets out of school at 12:15 .
I walk Sara to the bus and then we start to pack the car Around 11:30 we pile into the car and head out to pick Sara up from School with a quick stop at the bank to get some cash .I squeeze the car into an already packed parents parking lot at DD's School and my DW goes in to get DD a few minutes later they come out with DD's home work for the next week ( A Report on her trip to WDW ) We make a quick stop at the golden arches to grab a take out lunch and use the restroom then we are off for the American border crossing at Houlton Me . At the border crossing we are asked the usual Questions and then told to pullover to the left and talk to a lady standing outside ( Poor girl is freezing as it is about - 30 )with a clipboard. I am thinking boy are we off to a great start we are going to get searched . But I am wrong it is only an a agricultural inspection just 4 questions and a look in the trunk and we are on our way .

After crossing the border we stop at a Irving to have an other restroom break .upon leaving the store i notice a TD Bank north and decide to get some more US $ ( I Bank with TD Bank At home ). Two hr's later you guessed it an other restroom break we stop at Dysart's truck stop in Bangor would like to stop and eat as they have really good food but we decide to continue on to Portland an get a Hotel as we did not book one

after an other couple Hr's later we arrive in Portland and decide to stay at the Days Inn South Portland Airport. After checking in we head across the road to stuff our guts at the Old Country Buffet in the Maine Mall
After returning to the hotel i decide to go to the front desk and get them to print off our boarding passes for our Airtran flight to MCO it is only then that i discover that i don't have the conformation number for our flights after scratching my head and wondering what to do ( Had thoughts that i would have to make the 12hr return trip home to get it )i remember that it was sent to my hot mail so i head to the front desk and ask if i could check my hot mail they said sure so i retrieve my conformation # and get my boarding passes printed then head to bed but don't sleep much as i am too excited because we are going back to WDW Tomorrow !!!

It is Now Saturday we get up early and have the continental breakfast at the hotel I make my self a waffle and the girls all have cereal and fresh fruit it was realy good considering it was free . We then head back to our room and re pack deciding what we will leave in the car ( We end up leaving Sara's home work in the car oops ) We then discover that we have forgot at home the $ 100 gift card that we where going to use for a hotel on our return trip next saturday this means we will have to drive home right after our return flight .we still have lots of time to kill so we do some shoping and get a take out lunch from Burger King . We then eat our burger king in our hotel room and then take our bags to the hotel lobby so we can catch our 12 noon shuttle to PWM .we arive at PWM just after 12 and brezze through checkin and security and have over 2.5 hrs to wait for our flight

After boarding we have to wait for an hour while they try to thaw the sink drain in the front lavatory

After we Finally got airborne allmost exactly one hr late we had a great nonstop flight to Orlando with a great Flight crew. they handed out Airtran wings to all the little ones on board and even got a couple of the older boys help them hand out drinks and collect Garbage after . Both Sara and I really enjoyed the Free XM Satellite Radio . We where treated to a wonderful sunset along the way

We arrive at MCO around 7:15 and proceed to the Magic express counter and then right on to a bus and we are in our room at POP by 8:30 but our luggage did not arrive till 1:30 am The Girls are not long going to bed because we had a long day but i stayed up to wait for the Baggage

We are all up before we get our 7:30 wake up call from Stitch and Mickey so I let Sara answer the phone and she does not understand Stitch ( at least this time ) I go to everything POP To get milk for the cereal that we brought from home fill our mugs and then return to our Room ( 4th floor build 2 50ts # 2426 very quiet )

I then go down to luggage services to get the fridge that we got on the gold star fridge swap at first they could not find it but after i showed him a picture of the box that i brought from home he found it quickly i delivered it to our room

. then we where off to the magic Kingdom

We head to the buss stop DD6 reads the sign's and tells us witch line to get in after only a few minutes we jump on a bus and head to the house that the mouse built .

after we make it through the gate we stop for some pictures

Then we are off to Pirates of the Caribbean stopping along the way to get fastpasses for The Jungle Cruse

We ride Pirates and then head toward Jungle cruse Stopping to watch Jack Sparrow put on a show for the kids

.Sara got a certificate saying that she was a honorary pirate

Not quite time for fastpasses yet so DD & DW decide to ride Aladdin's Magic Carpet

We then stroll over to The Jungle Cruise bypassing the 45min long line Fastpasses in hand
