I have being following Ian on twitter for awhile now and love his tweets. He seems to be the one out of the entire cast that tweets the most.

I had comeplety forgotten that the olympics would cause most of my fav shows to go on hiatus. This is one of the reasons I loathe the Olympics. I would rather watch Damon and Stefan.

I've been reading a lot of trashy vampire-related novels recently.

LOL, they are a great fall-back! I just started the House of Night series and I like it so far.
I'm all caught up on the Sookie books till the new one and I just got the first book of the Morganville Vampires series in the mail this week.

I was eyeballing the Vampire Diaries at Borders last week but skipped it for now. I guess during the hiatus would be a good time to read those.

I hope this week's episode leaves us with something juicy!

The Vampire Diaries books have gotten bad reviews everywhere. They say they are terrible and nothing like the show! I haven't tried them because I am so into the show I didn't want the books ruining it for me.lol My sister tried them and hated them but loves the show.

I went into Hot Topic yesterday and they had Team Stephan and Team Damon shirts!!! I am so Team Damon!

There are a lot of suggestions of great books in the vampire genre.

I bought (w/reward points) the first two Vampire Diaries books even though I saw the bad reviews.

I've read the first one which is actually the first two books - it's ok - not that bad but then again remember they were written for teenagers. The books are just different than the show - some different people, not the same story line so I don't think reading them would ruin the TV show at all.

The TV show is much better but I'm also enjoying the books.

I read the Vampire Diaries books and think they are much better written than the Twilight series. The TV show basically just uses some of the character's names and the basic premise of the show and then creates entirely original plot lines that aren't in the books.

I have read the books and think they are okay. I love the show so much more but for what they are they are ok.

I sooooo want a team Damon tee. Mmmmm my birthday is in a few days maybe I'll see if someone will buy it for me.

Tonight was another great episode. I love Damon more and more each week.

Only good thing is--I have a Disney cruise to look forward to before it comes back on
I think I will have to watch Twilight or the Lost Boys this month to get my vamp. fix.

I was gonna post the same thing! Everytime we watch, my youngest dd and I both say, "Poor Damon! They're so mean to him!" Ian is so good as Damon!
