The - Used All Our Points For The Year - Group

Is there a support group? Sadly we are now members of this club. We used up all our current use year points within 3 weeks of having them as new owners.

So what’s everyone else do to pass the time until you can actually use points again?

We have a handful of YouTube bloggers we watch often. Now I have a new hobby of monitoring very specific resale listings although it will probably be a year or so before I’m ready to buy a second contract.

Already have a reservation for some of next year’s points. I don’t want to borrow. I may need to book a cash stay for a beignet.

In the same boat. Joined last summer (Feb UY), declined MB for our 2024 points and somehow we only have 5 points left...for 2026!!!

Well, I guess I know how - Feb 25 Princess half marathon stay, short weekend stay last month, a Vero trip in Oct and 5 nights for the full marathon Jan 26. But still, I'm outta points!

I will answer your question seriously this time. We are a chatty bunch and always find things to talk (sometimes argue) about. Each home resort had their own thread for owners to chat about the resort which is always fun. The you tubers are always fun too. Like DVC fan.

I also love reading through trip reports - sometimes people start before they go and you can offer suggestions/follow along once there and live vicariously!

Somehow ive managed to book up 1451 points in 4 months. To be fair some of these points will be for next years trip but I am in a state of borrowing on all 3 of my contracts as of today

We have used all of our current year and next year points for our stay at OKW and Rivera in a couple weeks… knowing we won’t be at WDW next year, we blew them all!!

Same! We also borrowed some ’26 points to upsize our villa. My daughter’s national dance competition week was at the Sw’olphin and felt the extra space would be needed. I am extremely glad to not pay regular rates for that trip, I am so bummed that point bucket is already 0
And that’s for 2 contracts. We have been there 3 visits for a total of 19 nights since mid-April so nothing to complain about- just want 1 or 2 more lol

We got annual passes this year for the first time and will be there in a few weeks to drop my other daughter off for a semester in the Disney College Program so using a AP room discount for that. But not expecting will be the same. I am so spoiled with deluxe villas but have to go frugal this trip and booked at Pop Century

I have never booked a cash stay through DVC member svc. So might call to check on price.

I will likely add a 3rd contract in next couple yrs. I saw someone comment in a facebook group about their bank and borrow rotation of 3 contracts over 3 years so they always have plenty of points. So i have this year to run numbers and see how that can work for us

I guess we are the only oddity. We've owned for 18 years now and only borrowed once, and have banked most years. Heck, I just banked 189 points yesterday (DEC Use Year, so banking had to be done by next Thursday...).

Does anyone get paranoid that they will miss their banking deadline and have a hard time seeing points sitting there as it nears.

I dont know why I feel the urge to bank before the deadline and it irritates me that im hoping a wl for December goes thru so points are still sitting there
