Alway great to see NY harbor

Thanks for sharing! It was so odd to take the ferry over from NJ and not see the Intrepid there on our Labor Day trip.

:cool2: Thanks for the great pics. I visited the Intrepid a few years ago for the first time. It was amazing.
We can't wait to take our kids when it is open again.

:thumbsup2

For 15 years I worked in the Building behind the 2 sailboats (on the right).
I had a few of the harbor, it was amazing. So much so that I kept the stinkin job more for the view than anything!:lmao:
Anyhooooooooooo....I was Always amazed at the size of the ships in contrast to the Bldgs. One really appreciates the size of these ships when you see them next to the Skyscrapers!

I remember when the QE2 came into the harbor.....WOW that ship went on forever.:thumbsup2

And remember, the Nimitz class carriers that are the backbone of today's Navy carrier battle groups are over 250' LONGER and over TWICE as heavy.

P.S. - They are not that amazing after you live on one for a while......... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
