Barb, thanks for your review of the diaper bag, I think I am going to get one now! Where did you get your bag? Was it the Borsa style?
Thanks also for the rain cover advice, the safety first one seems to make more sense. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that brand.

Just wanted to let you know that there are generic stroller travel bags (I definitely recommend some type of travel bag to keep it clean and safe) and raincovers which work just as well if not better than the Peg ones.

We have used a Peg P3 on our last 2 WDW trips. We ended up buying a Safety 1st generic raincover for about $8 and I really liked it better than the Peg one because it went over top the whole stroller and kept everything dry! The raincover came down quite far so that all the fabric and all of the backside including any bags we had hanging or underneath dry too. And we were there during really bad rain and storms last September.

We have used an Eddie Bauer travel bag as well that worked well. The bag was huge compared to the stroller but all we did was just wrap the extra fabric around the P3 which just gave it a bit more protection. There is another bag out there that looks even better and nicely padded for the P3 by JL Childress. HTH

Thank you so much for this advice! I have a Graco rain cover that I was going to try on it too. We bought it on Mother's Day for our Graco but I haven't even taken it out of the package yet. I like the idea of covering the entire stroller, not just the baby. You just saved me about a lot of $$

I'm going to go online now and look for the two bags you mentioned for traveling. The back seats of my minivan are black where my old Graco wheels would touch. So I really do need the travel bag. My husband thinks I'll get tired of putting it in the bag each time, but it will be worth it to save my seats.

OK, Ya'll convinced me to get a P3 - I found one on craigslist for $70 used

Is there supposed to be a strap for the back? There are 2 loops on the handle bars....

Those loops are for the available matching diaper bag. (or any diaper bag with clips) I also found that you can hang your keys,toys or bags off of them if you have a small clip.

HI, I actually got my diaper bag from Ebay for half price. It's brand new but discounted because it's an 07 pattern. It is the Borsa Cambio in Toffee. She has a ton of them in the different patterns. It's a little smaller then what they look like online but they still hold a ton of things...and still fits nicely on the stroller without being bulky. Pm me if you want the seller's name.

I just recieved my Zooper Twist. I ordered it after much research. I really liked the Maclaren Quest but wanted a larger canopy. The Twist is very similar to the quest. It has a larger canopy, comes with a rain cover, a full uv/bug cover, foot muff, parent cup holder. the handles seem a little taller than a mac. My ds who is 19 months 24 pounds fits great in it and so does my 7yr dd who is only 37 pounds. It pushed the same with both kids. I ordered it at strollerdepot.com for 189.00 including shipping. I did find that is the going price just about everywhere for the new 2008 version.

I just thought I would put this option out there for those liking the quest but not loving it. The twist is an all around good option for a lightweight umbrella style stoller.

I'm still thinking about the vaclo buggster (you can see it in action on youtube) I can't decide if it's really small enough/easy enough to handle. I really wanted a zooper twist though but they don't make it in hot pink. I can't decide if I want to wait until sept when the new strollers come out or just get somethiing now.

There are quite a few Buggster owners over there and they can answer any questions you have. There were a few for sale there as well recently. As for a Hot pink stroller...how about an I'coo Infinity? LOL I just bought it there but really don't need it and it is definitely HOT PINK!! Ha Ha But probably not small enough like you seem to want for a park.

We rented a double stroller in parks for our 3 and 7 year old last Fall and it was a godsend. However, I refuse to pay the increase price especially w/ 11 days for our next trip. We really liked having somewhere to contain our older one during crowded times or when we were on a mission or hurry. Has anyone tried the buggy board? I was thinking of using an umbrella stroller + buggy board for our next trip. The sit and stand strollers are nice and fairly inexpensive however, we are looking for something that folds up very small for taking onto the bus. We will not have a car.

What is the difference between the Classic and the Sport? We've looked at the Sport and LOVE the stroller. I'm wondering if it's worth it to spend the extra money on the Sport or if the Classic would be just fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, please tell me if you LOVE/HATE this stroller. If we were to purchase this, we would be using it on Disney transportation.

I'm not sure exactly, but the Classic looks more like a bare-bone version of the Sport. I have a Sport and LOVE it. That being said...we aren't taking it to Disney. We are taking our Peg Perego Pliko P3. The P&T is an excellent stroller, but not the easiest, smallest to fold. Our P3 folds much easier like an umbrella stroller - the P&T doesn't stay shut and has a bit of an awkward fold, which I would imagine would be harder to lug around and take on/off Disney transportation.

We actually just bought the Single version of this one (same color even) for our next WDW trip! I haven't taken mine out of the box yet but I have played with a display one once and I have heard lots of great reviews on the single as well as the double.

The fold is super easy and effortless and it really maneuvers well! Again, over on Stroller Swap (I posted the link above) there are lots of reviews and posts about the Baby Jogger Mini as well as real life pictures with and without kids both big and small to give you a better idea.

Our last 2 trips were with a Peg P3 which was great but it seems that the Baby Jogger Mini will be even better to use. I have heard that the sunshade has great coverage and I am just really excited about the easy fold! LOL

Plus we got a really good sale price on it online from Sports Authority. I also bought a second one in blue/gray from Moosejaw for a baby shower gift as well as the travel bag for myself for great prices too.

I will say that if you are interested in buying one, do it ASAP because most places especially online (where some better deals are) are backordered. Some are until August even. ours was backordered for almost 2 months but it ended up coming much earlier. HTH

Vibe - very nice, has a high-end stroller look and feel (kind of looks like a bugaboo or Quinny). I liked the brake on the handle, and the doubles seat attaches via a different mechanism. And the seat adjusts differently, which is nice, but you're still limited how much you can recline the front when you have the doubles kit behind it, so I'm not sure how much real value that adds. I think it's very cool that it attaches with the doubles seat on it. The seats are very nice - they come with removable memory foam feeling stuff liners. It's only available in black/red and black/gray. The stroller's cool, but I'm not sure it's worth over $700. For $700 I want a stroller that's perfect, and this one isn't.

Sport - I have this one and like it. For the price, I think it's probably the best value. I like the adjustable handlebar. I don't like the brake, because it's hard to get it back up when I just have flipflops on (I reach down and do it with my hand). Available in lots of fun colors.

Classic - The Classic is WAY stripped down. The seat is only three-way adjustable, the doubles kit doesn't look as comfy, the handlebar only has two settings, and it's only available in red. I think it's worth it to spend the extra $100 and get the Sport.

I just bought a Buggster and will be taking it with us to WDW next week. That is as long as nothing happens in transit and it gets here in time! I saw it IRL but they only had orange and black in stock. I am not a fan of orange and I have had more than enough black and navy strollers in my time as a Mom so I decided to order a different color. I debated between red and lime green and decided on the lime. I have a red Bumbleride Flyer so I wanted something different (although I suspect the Flyer won't be getting as much use once the Buggster gets here and it may just find it's way to a new home). I'll be glad to let you know how it works for us when we get back.

I've been to WDW with:
-a sit and stand (kids were 21 months and 3.5)
-an old garage sale Graco side by side that was the ugliest stroller in the world but worked well for us for that trip and it was always easy to find it's hideous 80s looking hawaiian print in the stroller corrals! It was $10 in a yard sale and worked fine for the trip but fell apart the next time I tried to use it! (kids were 2 and almost 4)
-a Chico Citta Twin double umbrella (the best of the doubles/sit and stand option group!) (kids were 4 and 2)
-a Peg Perego Pliko Sherpa for the almost 3 year old and a Mac Volo for the 4.5 year old
-a chicco ct0.5 for the almost 4 year old and the Mac Volo for the 5.5 year old
-a Rock Star Baby for the 4 month old and rented a WDW double for the older boys
-a Bumbleride Flyer for the 17 month old and a rented WDW double for the older boys


This trip it will be the Buggster and hopefully the older boys walking but we're willing to rent a stroller for them if they need one at some point. They are 8 and 6 and I doubt the 8 year old will need to ride but the 6 year old is recently out of a cast for a broken foot so he may need to due to some muscle atrophy after wearing the cast for so long.

I just looked it up and the max load for the P&T is 55lb in the front, and 33lb in the rear seat. When seated in the rear seat, I'm not sure the child could even get a good view of the wheels....so the temptation may not be there to reach out and touch them!!

I didn't read the whole thread yet, so maybe someone mentioned this, but this stroller was recalled for kids sticking their hands in the wheels. Not your model as I see it has the tire guards, but an older version that didn't have that. So just a word of caution to anyone looking to buy a used one.

Other than that, I think it's neat and almost bought it when my son was born, but my daughter barely rides in a stroller so I got a Peg Perego Centro instead, with a ride on platform in the back. Just like the Pliko, but the platform is wider and lower to the ground. And the basket is mroe accessible, IMO.

the stollers for rent at orlando stroller rental are excellent stroler and BRAND NEW! The city mini's are new and are great - I just bought a BAby Jogger City Elite and LOVE IT! We are taking it to WDW in Sept. - I bought ajump seat & jump seat canopy for it so my toddler can ride on the stroller too.

Any advice would be great. We are planning a trip this fall with our 4 year old DD and know we want to have a stroller but..... With the prices and the look of the strollers I am considering purchasing one. The last time we were at WDW we had our Graco MetroLite - great stroller. Never have rented one. They don't look very comfortable. Looking to get a jogging stroller due to height and weight requirements of most strollers. Any advice???

I think the Maclaren Volo is a great option for older children without being to expensive. You can find great deals on ebay for last years models. It holds up to 55 lbs.
