WAVES of irritation are pouring out of me. WAVES. I have spent HOURS on the computer doing all sorts of figuring and checking.. and comparing.. HOURS. My mom keeps changing her mind. Are you F-ING kidding me?? Seriously?? Im DONE. She has all the info out of me she is going to get!! NO. MORE. Yeah right. Oh well. Im annoyed. What can you do?

See this is the reason why I haven't done a WDW trip.

Now DL is no problem, find air fare, pick a hotel and hop a plane.. done!
next trip though will not be Disney related-- gasp-- I know.. I know... but it's time to spread our wings and use those miles somewhere else for a change.

Maybe put the planning to rest for awhile, breathe breathe.... ahhhh see much better already.

Now I know my DH had a vasectomy, but given my luck the thing would probably reverse itself.

All of the sudden I was imagining that the year my child graduated from high school I would start collecting social security!

[Insert DEEP sigh of relief here].

Glad I could amuse somebody today. OMG! What's even funnier is I have been wanting to get a pregnancy test for the past several days and couldn't! We were of course camping over the weekend. Monday I had to have lunch with my boss, Tuesday I was swamped so ate lunch while working. I carpool, so no time in the morning or evening to stop and get a test. The lady I carpool with is the BFF of my sister in law's mother...boy that news would sure get around fast.

Now remember I live in a small town and I CANNOT buy a pregnancy test there or everybody in town will know about it. Bruce has been working evenings and I feel funny tucking the kids into bed and then driving 20 miles into Vancouver at 10pm to buy a pregnancy test. When I tried to get a pregnancy test after I got pregnant with DD, we have one pharmacy in town and I ran into DH's mx racing buddy at the checkout stand. Of course he tried to pretend he didn't see the big letters PREGNANCY TEST. After I took the test and told DH, I said well, you'd better call him and tell him the results too.

Then I'm just imagining the look on DH's face as I try to explain that I'm pregnant. Yeah, like I would really have the time to have an affair! I don't even have time to buy a pregnancy test, let alone sneak around with another man and be stupid enough to not use birth control.

Of course then I read that older women tend to have irregular ovulation, causing more multiples...boy let me tell you the things that were running thru my mind the last few days.

I was scared to even PM anyone because I figured that would jinx things and then I would be pregnant. Yeah, I know stupid thought, but let's remember I have been near panic for about a week.

I cannot tell you how relieved I am that I'm not pregnant. I love kids, but I'm really in a mindset of being done with that part of my life.

I feel the same way.
I enjoy being Auntie to my sister's boys, but it feels great to turn them back over to her when there is an owie, upchuck or diaper disaster. It's exhausting work just being at her house for a few hours a day.

Hats off to the mommies with the little ones.. this means you Megan.. I don't think I have "it" anymore to do the non stop mommy action that is required. Bravo!

Girl... I dont have "IT" anymore. At least not today. I got ZERO sleep last night. I went to bed at 7 when hubby got home, and I got up at 10. Yeah.. When Dh went to bed I threw a temper tantrum. Did I also mention that I have some sort of stomach bug.. along with my helper.. I mean Alex. I was bawling... its not fair. When he is sick, he can call into work and lay in bed all day. When I am sick I get to do everything I usually do! More today because I had a sick kid. AND Jasmine has some sort of bug up her butt. She was up all night, and has been rather squaky all day.

So what does that make? 2 under the weather kids... 2 okay kids.. not that Mikalah is what I would call okay. and a sick, tired and GRUMPY mommy. If I was my husband, I would have locked myself in the room HOURS ago.

Hey Alison. Arent you REALLY glad that test came back negative??? hey. I do what I can.

I've been sniping at everyone this week, lack of sleep combined with oncoming PMS.. my dh wisely bought me another diet coke after picking up J at rehearsal.
Thanks honey, but I already have one in the refrigerator.
Yes, I know. And I am going to keep you well stocked until your "one week of B" is over. That way we will all survive with all body parts intact..

He smiles and happily stores my drug of affection in the fridge for later use.

J has stinky feet, he tossed his socks for the cat to groove on the stinkiness. Dude! take a shower!


It has been hot today.. very hot.. and of course humid too, it wouldn't be MN without the humidity to make you feel even more miserable. Hubby is already wishing for winter, I laughed. In winter he will be crabbing about the cold and wanting the sun to come out again. " well, yeah.. but .. you know.. I can still wish right?"

We made sure J brought his water bottle and his sunglasses for rehearsal today.. I'm sure it felt much nicer out on the field after the sun went down.

No fair - i never get one!!! What does a person have to do - I cant really make it any more often!!!

I feel so lazy - I have hardly worked at all these last couple of weeks - at least I am doing laundry and going through coupons - that counts....right??? My poor body is used to the 45 hours/week...now that the kids are in school and I am only working 35 hours it seems so relaxing!!! I haven't been able to touch a coupon in months - no time - so this is a very exciting thing for me
