even N got smart and took over the bottom bunk since J is at band camp.. :lmao:

There are 3 Walmart's in Vancouver. The one by my work removed the fabric last year. So you must have went to the Hazel Dell or Cascade Park one. I think they still have fabric.

Hazel Dell.. It was in kind of a crappy older area. But next ot the theater my mom took the kids to see G-Force. Dh and I went out to lunch just us and the twins.. it was so quiet.

I'm headed to bed ladies. Have a nice night and I'll chat with ya tomorrow.:cloud9:

That's the one I usually go to on the weekends since it's closer to my house.

Hazel Dell used to be the place to shop when I was a kid. But then it went downhill a bit. But new businesses are coming in and it's kind of going thru a transition now.

Thats what we noticed.. Its seemed to be really run down in some places, but lots of new construction too. Plus there was a Baja Fresh nearby.. YUMMY!!!

eek, i pulled a 12 hour lead shift today. :\ EEEEEK!

Awww suck it up Albort. J/K!! My DH works 12 hour shifts, 4 days in a row from 6am-6pm, then 4 days off, then 4 nights in a row from 6pm-6am, then four days off....repeat into eternity!:rotfl: Makes for a long day I know, but just be glad you don't have to do it every day.

But think of the paycheck :thumbsup2

E is tired and eager for summer school to end, just two more days, but as much as he grumbles.. he likes the paycheck.

Isn't it sad, with his hourly rate he makes more than when salaried? Wish they would pay the same hourly for subbing, but they don't. Higher hourly pay only if you are already salary and take on extra duties like after school tutoring or summer school. He will be running an after school program this coming school year, tied in with the training he did in June. It's cool because he's in charge of the program at his school site, he can pick how many days per week the program will run and pick an assistant. :goodvibes

Hi all.

Disneyland yesterday was fun. It was hot. The crowds were okay. DBF had his GAC so we really only had to wait at DCA but the longest line was for Soaring wich was about 45 minutes. Toward the end of the night we didn't even need to use his pass, just walked right on most of the rides.

I saw my first Disneyland kitty yesterday. I have always heard that there are cats at Disneyland but had never seen one. We were eating at Hungry Bear and there was a cat under the table next to us. I started thowind it bits of turkey from my sandwich and eventually it came over to us and let us pet it and everything. It must get fed alot because if didn't look skinny at all. I forgot my camera at home so I'll post a picture later.

If you look behind Hungry Bear, off of the lower level or even when on the train, you will see little houses, like dog houses but smaller. That's where the kitties rest.

The CMs feed the cats and have named them.

The one that hangs around White water snacks is Harriet (if my memory is correct). I have seen her every time we eat there, she's very affectionate and likes chicken more than anything else. :goodvibes

The marching band photographer, volunteer, has been posting photos from band camp on a secure member-only site..

I have proof! My J is alive and well. :lmao:

hmm, I noticed he was wearing the sweat pants and jacket that I secretly packed in his bag.. everyone looked cold!! Brrrrrr.

Of course, I know he won't think to thank me :rolleyes1.. but as a mom I have a certain satisfaction in knowing that I was right! :snooty: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hey .. this one is new----------->> :littleangel:

No more need to use the albino.

I believe it has evaporated from all the heat. We are currently only 93 and a slight breeze. Much better than the 114 it was yesterday!:scared1:

That was just a drive by posting. I'm headed home now...hopefully not to another impromptu bbq and house full of people.:lmao: DH obviously is bored, the kids are at grandma's and he has nothing better to do during his 4 days off then invite people over to swim and bbq. But guess who gets to do most of the work when she gets home from work?:lmao:
