Of course not! We just know that you like to shop. And as such we have to give you a hard time. Remember I live with my DD who is a shopaholic and purse addict also.

Much in the same way that my DH tells me "are you headed over to the Goodwill to buy back the stuff you donated to them last month?".

If I want a Juicy purse I wait until it either goes on sale or it gets sent to the Juicy Outlet store. The price is reasonable and more than 50% off. If you go to nordstrom.com they have Juicy purses on sale. Sometimes the price on their website is lower than in their store and vice-versa.

I promise I'm not snobby....I just have a purse addiction.

I went to the nordstrom website but sadly they don't ship outside the US. There is juicy here in the UK but it's costs the same in pounds as it does US dollars so it's about twice the price and I have no clue when I'm back in the US next. Oh woe is me. And apparently Canada doesn't sell Juicy couture I thought they did but not according to the official website.

Too bad dh doesn't want to move back to the US, you guys have the best shopping!

Yesterday we got DS's new glasses that I ordered from http://www.zennioptical.com/cart/home.php. They are awesome! DS loves them. Seriously, if you or anyone in your family wears glasses, this is definitely the way to go. They have a huge selection starting at $8, many in the $9-$15 range.

THIS PRICE IS FOR FRAMES AND LENSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You order online, they are made in China, get shipped to the US and then mailed out from California. Sometimes they get stuck in customs and can take a couple of months, but most orders will arrive in 2-4 weeks.

All you have to do is enter your prescription information and use a ruler to have someone measure the distance between the middle of your two pupils (very easy and they give full instructions on their website).

They charge $4.95 shipping (this is per order, not per pair of glasses!). You can add tinting for $4.95, transitions for $39, etc...

So what do I think of the quality? Well I don't think the frames are quite as high of quality as the $200 a pair glasses from the optician. However, they are not cheap frames either. I would say maybe one step down from the optical shop. But let's see...$200 vs. $8-$25, not a hard choice to make. As hard as DS is on glasses I can order 25 pairs of these for the same price as 1 pair at the doctor's office. DS said that he could see out of them just fine, as a matter of fact he thought he could see better from them than his old glasses.

We got DS 5 pairs of glasses for about $145. We did pay some extra because we got 2 pair with tinting and 1 pair transitions. If we hadn't done that our price would have been much lower.

So for anyone wearing glasses, this is a huge bargain.

Holy COW!!! Do they have bifocals?? I guess I could check myself.. huh? Frelan wears bifocals... he always has due to lazy eye. He got it from his mom, and EWWWWW... She is creepy. Her one eye always points off in some weird direction. Very creepy.

I'm watching the Real Housewives of New Jersey....The NJ ones seem really tacky, sorta gawdy(sp?).

Finally had a phone interview with the guy at the PR firm yesterday (the one who I tried to call on Friday). I don't think I did as well as I could have, but at least it's over with. Now I just have to wait to see if he calls me in for an interview at the office, but I'm not one to hold my breath.

Now that it's less than a month away, I'm really starting to get excited about seeing all of my cousins and going to Disneyland (especially now that I've seen that fireworks video and the daily schedule is posted). It'll be great having my new digital camera and video camera along to document things and I'm planning on bringing along a bag of checkers pieces so I can play checkers on the porch of the fake house on TSI.

I read about them on A Full Cup, plan to have J's eyes checked for a new script (and pupil distance) to get him new glasses. His current frames are beat up.

I told my sis she needs to do this too, she only needs her glasses for driving-- well they fell out of the car and her husband ran them over.
The lenses are totally trashed. She poo poohed buying them online... well I still need a script.. uhh yeah, but ....
She wasn't convinced. Too bad because less money spent on ANYTHING is worth the trouble right?

I Haven't worn mine for over a year now, mildly near sighted. With school coming up.. guess I better get a new script
