I'm really sleepy at the moment and need to hit the hay......did some laundry and was folding the clothes when this spider ran into my bedroom. I grabbed the quickest thing possible, which was a Febreeze bottle and smashed it *whack whack whack whack*


My bf has been working lots of OT. It really really sucks because they also have been calling him in on the weekends (his only time off). They are just over swamped with orders and they don't have enough people to cover. He told me that they hired temps but no one has the time to train them. It's just chaotic and I keep hoping that his schedule will go back to normal.

DH GOT THE JOB!!!!! HE WAS OFFERED THE JOB AT THE CHEMICAL PLANT IN LONGVIEW AS RAILROAD TRACK MANAGER AND IS ON HIS WAY TO BE DRUG TESTED AND TO SCHEDULE A PHYSICAL! HE STARTS NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!!

You know what this means don't you?? I can start planning our next Disney trip!

Ok - my gay plan might not work....I think that is right around DN's GF's due date....not sure how that involves us - but since they will probably still be living here we should probably be here??? Maybe back to July for DS's bday??? Crazy thing is according to the weather charts September is warmer then July - but that makes no sense??? Can you all tell I am just really confused here???

Oh....big news....big foot was seen about 30 miles from where I live....hunters found her....they think she was pregnant....seriously peoples this is in our newspaper.....and you all wonder WHY I am so confused

im browesing disney trips myself... not easy with 15 pounds of squirmage in my lap..

Got my 5 stitches removed from my chin this morning. Nurse said I was healing really well. Hopefully the scar won't be too bad. Plus it's kind of on the bottom of my chin and not real visible. One of those times it's good to be 5 foot nothing!

Anybody doing anything fun for the weekend? We were going to head to the lot at the beach and camp, but decided against it. So now we're cleaning windows (inside and out) Saturday morning and setting up the pool. Sunday DH is taking the kids mx riding. DH wants to catch up on yard work on Monday since he will be starting work on Wednesday.

awesome! Im glad you are healing well!! We are headed to Grandmas house for the weekend. I cant wait. My mom has a nice little yard we can let the kids out and play, and not worry to much.. everything is shiny and new for my kids to destroy. Plus... I am down to my last case of diapers, and its time for a stock up... grandma style. I told her I had tons of coupons, so not to get anything till we got there.. And I think she is planning on taking the kids to the movies.

I am still undecided on a disney trip...all I know is I have three AP's set to expire and I have only got to use them one time

I want to go to Disneyland SOOO bad. Seriously. I was looking on AA website, and we can fly.. our WHOLE family.. all 6 of us.. for around $850.00 THAT is a freaking deal! I punched in some dates and got a package deal for $3200 that include airfare, hotel, park tickets, airport parking, 3 character meals, and airport shuttle... what a deal. If I had $3200, I would be all over it!

Wow - I am glad you are healing up nicely Nothing fun for the weekend - unless you call work fun!!! (Actually I do - I have trouble not trying to find fun in whatever) Memorial Day weekend is a huge travel holiday for us - our town will quadruple bringing in lots of hungry customers

Working on it - just not sure when....I have a very limited time frame and I really hate the heat!!! I figure if we go we have to stay at the Grand - but I have never stayed there without a cheap room - can't pay full price, but can't stay far away because we might melt!!!

Hello Everyone,

Last night I had trouble sleeping. I had a stomach ache from the kabob I ate for dinner. Less than 30 minutes after I ate it, I had to run to the bathroom because I didn't feel good. It doesn't make sense to me.....I've been eating it for almost a year and nothing bad ever happened until now. My bf said maybe the herbs in the meat weren't fresh or maybe their cucumber yogurt wasn't fresh. I had a stomach ache and kept trying to sleep but couldn't. Finally, close to 4am I get to sleep. I called in late this morning to work and am leaving in a few minutes. I checked my e-mails just now from home and I have lots to do for my customers today.

DBF and I are going to Glen Helen for the 1st round of the outdoor nationals! Whoo Hoo! I'm excited. I think the outdoors are so much funner than the SX because you get to be right down on the track.

Alison- Glad you are healing nicely, I have two scar lines on my chin (slammed my chin twice in one year at the age of 5) it's hidden fairly well.. Now I have to do some careful watching, ugly black hairs grow in the scar. PLUCK!

When E had surgery on his neck (parathryoid removed) the surgeon recommended treating the incision line with Vitamin E (poke a hole in Vitamin E capsules and smooth the "goo" over the scar). It worked very well, less visible of a scar. We've had good results with Mederma to fade out the scars too.

We are watching J march in our local parade on Monday.. or rather his band IS the parade. Just a short one.. City Hall to the cemetary.

The band staff were telling us to try not to be "band groupies", in the past he noticed parents would watch the band go by.. and then would follow the band on the sidewalks along the route.

Now that's taking "helicopter parenting" to a whole new level.

J is so funny, telling us where to drop him off on Monday.. and then saying

"pick me up at the cemetary, because that's where I will be.. I don't want to walk all the way back to city hall"

uhhhh dude... we're going to attend the parade, duh??
