Hey, Honu, I'm back. Sorry for taking so long. Restarting my computer didn't really help, so I just shut the computer down and let it rest for a bit. It seems to be doing better now.

Are you going to be on later? I ran out of my compazine and had to take my reglan instead for my nausea, normally I don't take it, but I was sooooo nauseous today it was horrible. The reglan always makes me sleepy. So I'm starting to fall asleep. I'll be back on soon, just have to go put in a quick cat nap.
I hope that you're feeling better. I'll be on later tonight (8 pm or 9pm your time). I didn't get a chance to watch all the videos that you posted, so I'll go back and watch them now. Talk to ya later. Happy napping!

So they made the first round of layoffs today. One of the managers in another office was let go and two people in my office were laid off. One of them was Tena, who was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. Another was Ed, my lunch buddy and also from my department. I felt really bad because he'd had a bad day Saturday (he got stuck here til 5!) and I think was angry at us for that. And then this happens; plus, it was effective immediately. They were told to clean out their desks and leave.Ed and I started on the same day and he was the one that got shown the door. My boss said that this was it for this office. There's going to be a second round but this is the office that is going to be spared. I hope that's true. I just can't believe it was such short notice like that!!!
I'm so happy you weren't laid off! But, it's so sad co workers get laid off. Stupid economy. I hope things get better soon!
Yesterday, I called out. We had a snow storm and up north didn't get hit as bad, maybe 4-5 inches. But where I live it was more like 9 or 10. I was going to come in, I shoveled my car out and everything, and as I was about to walk out the door I saw that it was snowing again. So I told my boss if she really needed me, I'd come in but she said she didn't think it'd be busy and told me to stay home. I live 30 miles from my office so yeah...I didn't really feel like making that drive in the snow!
Whew! That's a lot of snow! Glad you got to take the day off!

Well Typhoon Lagoon is in refurb till the 23rd of this month so we only have Blizzard Beach to choose from for right now.

I'm here. I'm getting pretty tired, so I won't be able to stay on for too long.
I could have used anti-nausea meds last night. I didn't realize I ate a third of a bag of Oreos (that's 12!!!!) in one sitting still I started trying to puke..... but I had some Pepto Bismol on hand and that helped. I seriously need to watch my Oreo intake.
I'm sleeeeepy..... and looking forward to tomorrow.
