Returning: 9th May 2010
Flying Aer Lingus CdG – Dublin, Dep: 9.30pm arrive 10.45pm-ish

Transfers to/from Sequoia Lodge thanks to Ezishuttle.

I have no itinerary as such for anything, I have a rather vague dining plan based on some vouchers we’ve received but for everything else we’re just going to try and cover what we missed last year, get in some new stuff.

That’s it! That’s my strategically accurately precise agenda “try get in some new stuff”. I bet you’re raging you didn’t think of that! LOL. Still awake?
Ok so here’s what we missed last year.

Dining:
Walts
Rainforest (defo going there)
Blue Lagoon (defo going there)
Planet Hollywood
Plaza Gardens.

Disneyland Park
All the shows on any stage anywhere apart from Honey ISTA
Pirates,
Space Mountain (should we?)
Family Robinson treehouse thingy
Casey Jr
Compte the Pay de whatchamacallit
Indiana
Phantom Manor (should we?)

WD Studios
TOT (should we?)
RnR Coaster
Armageddon
Any of the arty things
and
Panoramagic (defo)

What the heck were we doing last year? We must have been asleep? Oh yeah we were on IASW……again……

So my “plan” is to get as many of these things done as we can and then go on the things we did last year.

As for an itinerary for days, all I have is this

Pre Day 1.
Buy one more small suitcase for ds, I’m thinking a Toy Story one from Argos.
Continue to buy little Disney bits n bobs for the goodie flight surprise bag.
Pack a little in secret everyday and hide the cases everyday.
Get the hamster minded without making it look like we’re getting the hamster minded.
likewise for the fish.

Day 1,
Up at 4am and wake the kids for their surprise- middle- of- the- night-family- trip to give granddad a lift to the airport. Hoping that the kids don’t ask why Grandad is collecting all of US at 5am, in HIS car, from OUR house to bring HIM to the airport LOL.

We’re hoping to keep it a surprise for as long as poss but I know as soon as they see their luggage with the Disney tags on they will know. After check in my as yet unplanned plan will kick in…….I’m sure…..I just don’t have it yet!

so that’s it for now, something tells me I will be changing various parts of this “strategy”.

Feel free to HELP!!!

Mum2belle What a shame, I think I saw that myself now that you mention it, I know BTM is closed until the 7th, this was one of the reasons for me adding a day to our trip, then another just to be sure :lmao:

bonhoga that was the only show we saw in the park last year, we managed to miss everything else like the drummers etc

come on ticker hurry up!

You seem to have thought it through a lot more planning than I have! :worship:
Though luckily I don't have kids to suprise. Or organise. Or anything. I'm a big enough kid to organise myself! :earsboy:

Good luck with the suprise.:cheer2:

Sounds like you have everything in place and what a wonderful surprise again for your children.

Will be so wonderful for you to share the magic with your husband this time too and I hope this holiday is just as perfect as your first trip.

Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.

hi baby belle :)

thanks for your reply :thumbsup2

i don't know the heck i havent spilled the beans, it's soooo hard not telling the kiddies:headache:, especially ds as he keeps asking has he enough saved to go back to dlp , he has about €7 in his piggy bank :lovestruc

it'll be great with dh, we know where everything is so we can be the tour guides :) and he's got big exams in uni the week after so it'll be a welcome break from all the studying for him.

Cee, we'll probably see you around somewhere :yay: enjoy your trip!

Hi Rosabelle

I'll be there next week too & you sound so much more organised than me! Especially with the hamsters & fish, I haven't even thought about getting someone to feed our dogs yet - just hope next door will be about!

Can't believe you missed Pirates last year, your son will love it! Don't know if I'll get a chance this time as my 3 yr old won't even go in the entrance so it'll probably just be DH & DD1. The stage shows are all great. I love Anamagique & Cinemagique in the Studios.

I hope you all have a great time & get to do everything you have missed before & I look forward to reading all about it when you come back - I loved your last trip report. I usually write mine & upload it every night when the kids are asleep so I remember what I have done! Otherwise I never get round to doing it when I get home.

Thanks for the recommendations Karen , I'll make sure to check those shows out first :thumbsup2

Well I rang yesterday and made some dinner reservations

wed: hunters grill in the SL for 7.30pm then fall into bed.
Thursday: cafe mickey for 7pm
Sunday : brunch in steakhouse before leaving at 1.45pm.

When we get there I will book the Blue Lagoon for Saturday maybe and well fit in the Rainforest somewhere too. :cool1:

I'm mostly packed and the kids are all packed and still completely unaware :goodvibes

4 more sleeps I canNOT wait

Were nearly there missus ! Are you packed?

You can do live updates then complete with photos, it'll be just like watching the judges on Master Chef or something!! :rotfl2:

I have started packing and DD has started unpacking!! Got a Disney Store Mickey fleece on ebay for 99p - result!! :thumbsup2

Not long now!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

That is a result :thumbsup2
