Hey Ed!
Can I PWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE borrow a few extra thousand?? I promise I'll pay you back.

Oooooooh what's that I see...it can't be! in the top center of the first picture. Tisk Tisk.

(As you can tell I need sleep)

It would be my guess that this is an un happy pin trader getting out of the hobby, and/or someone who is NOT a true "Scoopie".
From the looks and types of pins, I would guess they're perhaps a CM???? Sure do have some HTF pins.

Only the "pin gods" know!!
LOL!!!

I know there was some great pins in there, but I cannot imagine just deciding to drop $6,000 on ebay for some pins...... it must be nice to have so much extra money around! I can hear my husband CROAKING right now!!! I should have sent this link to him and told him it was me who bought it.... hahahaha.

You know me, I cant keep my mouth shut and let this go. Ok I do happen to know both the bidder and the buyer are on that auction and I do know for 210% that neither one are cast members and the person who sold the set had an extra scoopie pin for trade and of course in no shortage of pins, trust me. So if you have the money and are willing to spend it on what you want, more power to you. I mean come on, no one complains about spending $6000.00 on a disneyana peice or artwork done by a disney artist. So I am am just curious about the difference in 1 item or 500 item regardless of price. I mean if you do the math its about $12.00 a pin, most of those pins if you were to buy them off ebay will cost you a heck of alot more than $6000.00, so me personally I think it is a great investment. Anyway, I just had to vent.

I think I would have been more selective...Yes there were some nice pins in there, and of course the Scoop pin, but not of the "knock your socks off" pins...And whatever the gentlemans's reason for selling them aside, I would've taken that money, and gotten more enticing pins...

A lot of the pins, though very nice, are fairly comman and lot of them were less then 12.00 a pin....Maybe it is the female coming out in me, but we like to shop for the best bargain for our money, and I would be doing that....Just my opinion, on what I would do w/ my money..

I hope the buyer, enjoys the pins, and both are happy w/ the sale...

Could one of you please educate a novice pin trader and tell me what the fantastic pin in this collection is that you're all gaga over? LOL The center one at the top of the first picture? What is it? Thanks!

Hi BluOrchid - the pin you' re referring to is the special - to many of us - Scoop Sanderson pin given personally by Scoop- or a few designated others- to people who do much to promote the trading, loving, positive thinking, etc.. of pins. I am sure if you look further around this board, you will see many postings lately about the Scoop pin. They are rarely traded, thus the reaction you have seen from people. Hope this helps you out. Caroline
