Yes, it will be open for your dates. :goodvibes

Have a read about it here. It's scarey but fun scarey. I won't do any coasters that turn me upside down but I love riding the Tower of Terror.

Is It Rlly Scary?

I haven't been on the ToT at DLRP but I have rode the one @ DCA over 30 times-- both attractions use the same ride system. The "freefall" is a controlled and smoothe drop--but nevertheless, a drop!

The first drop is a short "tease" drop of about 20 feet and then you drop again to the bottom and quickly shoot back up to the top. The drop feels like the sensation of riding over the first big hill of a roller coaster or like the big drop on Splash Mountain. IMO, ToT is not as scarey as a drop tower ride because you are fully enclosed inside a building rather than shooting up and down on the outside of a steel tower frame. To me, the scary part is not the drop but the anxiety of waiting for the drop!

The last time we were at DCA, an 82 year old woman rode in the same elevator with us. I was for sure the family she was with was crazy for putting this poor elderly woman on this ride. Oh how wrong was I!!! Apparently, she has ridden it before and she said that she LOVES it and will probably ride it again that day.

Hi, Have been on loads of times in wdw and there are five drops i think the one is paris is 4 drops But I think the ride will still be the same!!:goodvibes

It is ok. I am not keen on freefall when I cant see when i am falling so am not very keen but I would ride it again.
I went to the pin event on the 22nd and it was open for 1hr for the people at the event. Some of our friends rode it 6 times in the hour so it must be ok. If you get the chance to ride in the dark I would reccomend it as the view when they open the lift doors is great
