The Tuesyday Pirate Rant!!

Even though today is a fun day for the game (which means double credits), I have had the WORST experience today playing with very very RUDE people. Mainly the problem i have is when people (like me) get stuck and all the opponents run over to me like im a sitting duck. I may may be a sitting duck in pirates people but how low can you get when you try your best to try to blow that person up, you having the advantage.
I know it's a fun day but people, don't be so grabby and rude. Today even a LEADER did this, me even saying "Wait!" and he just kept on shooting acting stupid. How low can you get??

Hmmm, I don't want to be rude, but I don't actually think they were in the wrong.

The goal is to blow up all the enemy players. If one of the enemies gets stuck, then you have to quickly dispatch them before they get free. Common sense.

I wouldn't call these people rude, nor are they "not nice," but they are truthfully just PLAYING THE GAME.

If you want better luck, play Friendly Pirates.

Nothing against you or anything, but it's Pirates, the game doesn't come included with mercy. They put the obstacles in the game for a reason, if you get stuck, that's your problem the other team doesn't have to wait for you to get out.

I'll admit I'll shoot people when they are stuck. It's part of the game. If vmk did not mean for you to get stuck every now and then they would just have an ocean, no islands or anything.

I don't think that this is too bad either. There are a lot of things to complain about with regards to the Pirates Game. The lag which in turn affects you ability to "move" how you want to. People dictionary dancing and can't get in trouble for.

But, you're complaining about very little every day things. That's the GAME. People say "yes", "no", "gl", and "gg". This is a common occurrence.

I think that you are bitter about losing, and are thus taking it out on the game.

Can anyone imagine real pirates battling on the open seas, and one Captain screaming to his opponent, "wait, we are stuck a ground"?

It's part of the experience of playing the game, stay away from the land areas. Very few people will let you get unstuck so you can sink them later. I suggest you play with ai's and practice getting unstuck. All you have to do is click on the water beside your ship, try both ways. If that does'nt work, click the back of your ship and than on the water on the sides. Do these things multiple times and very fast. If that dont work, pray for a swift and painless death, because sometimes you are just plain stuck!!

Yes, it's annoying, but what do you expect the enemy ships to do when you're stuck? The point of this game is to shoot down your enemy and win the game

I confess I get annoyed, but it's not with the other team; it's with myself and my "bad driving skills" that got me stuck in the first place.

ARRR to that! I am tired of "stuck" players calling the ones that shoot them "cheaters" or "mean". It's not their fault players can't steer their boat! Poor captains deserve to be sunk! Off to the locker with ye! Savvy?

Hey, i understand it is frustrating to get stuck on the rocks, unfortunately the ships are NOT equipped with four wheel drive.

Please remember it is just a game, yes a game that earns lots of credits, so
do what a lot of Dis members do, get a "specific" group together that you are used to playing with and that you can play "Friendly" pirates with. ( That is where you have pirates and port royal take turns winning, going three rounds, and racking up the points.)
I have noticed that a few Dis' members have come under fire for doing this, but can you blame them, they have a dependable group that plays the game with courtesy and they have fun!!
Otherwise you are going to be hunted down and SUNK (arggg) as the game intended

Its also annoying when they start to call their opponents "cheaters" whenever they win ( im after these guys first in the game).

Well i had a saturday pirate rant! I was on my sisters file who just started vmk and wanted the blue princess dress so i would buy it for her by playing pirates. I have 2 stories....

1. I was in a pirates lvl 1 and i was doing great and a girl who was playing said u shoot with the arrow keys dumbo guest. I just ignored the remark and we eneded up losing the round. in round 3 it was me and another player (the complainer already got killed) so it took 3 minutes me and other person went into gold round and we killed each other and i was killed first so we lost and the complainer said wow u stink u shouldnt be playing pirates or vmk!

2. In pirates again there was a a line of 3 players firing at us on of them died and said Omg why didnt u move you lose.her!! (talking to the person above him) and we won the round.then in round 2 they did the same formation and he died agian he said Omg! you are all lose.hers and im reporting u all!

i cant stand people like this....
