You know that laser in Tron? The one that he get's sucked into?
That's NOVA, in Livermore,CA at the Larwernce Livermore National Laboratory.
Well, that laser is gone now. And it's replaced by a whole new one. NIF. The National Ignition Facility. My dad actually is one of the mechanical engineers on it.
