"What's that you say? We didn't ride RnRC? OR have turkey legs? Oh ye of little faith...."
.....well, not only did we get to participate in
AI [personally, I think it's rigged, because it seems that everyone around us was picking the same contestant, but someone else won...

], we were able to purchase a couple of turkey legs after all. I managed to wave to the survey-taking CM, which, of course, my DH had no idea what that had been about:
[...no this WASN'T taken at Toluca Turkey Legs, but you get the idea...]
....but I did manage to look around me and decided to snap this:
[...funny, the things you miss when you don't take the time to stop and smell the..uhhhhh...turkey legs...]
....afterwards, we by-passed Tatooine, which was closed for refurbishment:
...and the New York street area, foregoing [yuck, need I say it?]
Backlot Tour:
[...*gasp*, <<shudder>>...]
....only to find out that
Lights, Motor, Action! had just completed its last performance of the day...
....AND, we did get on the 'regular' line, since our Fastpasses were now long-expired, for RnRC. Ironically, the line wasn't even too long. [...that's something that I STILL cannot figure out, BTW...

]....it was right around at this point that Dylan had had enough of the adult company, and he wanted to revisit Epcot, so he did so, by way of the WDW transportation system - we told him that we'd pick him up with our car later in the day...it was getting to be a long afternoon, so after purchasing some cool and creamy ice cream, followed by doing something we hadn't on previous visits - explore
Walt Disney: One Man's Dream:
....eventually, we returned to our rental car, but not before YET AGAIN, running into another street show:
[...funny, but some of my students think the same way....SCARY!]
....out DHS's entrance we went, and good thing too, because it appeared that the skies were about to open up:
....but not so as we headed over to Epcot to retrieve Dylan. Actually, that turned out to be quite easy - we didn't need to pay for parking, since we had already done so, and, we explained to the CMs in the parking lot that we weren't there to visit Epcot, but to pick up someone. They let us drive as close to the monorail entrance as possible, where we waited for a few minutes until Dylan emerged from Epcot's entrance....did you notice that the day was turning out to be a 'junk-food-grab-and-eat-as-you-go' kind of day? Well, not to be outdone in the evening portion of the day, when we returned to DHS later, we, once again met up with Jean and Maureen so that we could head over to savor the delights and wonderment of
Fantasmic!, arms filled with the spoils of DHS - soda, hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, bottled water, and popcorn. You know, your typical healthy-type fare. Comfortably seated seven or eight rows back [ with plenty of elbow room], just slightly left of center, we ate until our appetites were fully satiated, thoroughly relishing the entertainment...
....my favorite part of the show is when the floating Steamboat Willie boat comes into view, which is an 80’-long reproduction of the same boat where Mickey was first introduced in 1928! The driver is none other than Mickey Mouse himself, as if he were transported from the past. Gracing the decks are some of the most easily recognizeable Disney characters, like Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Megara and Hercules, Donald, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip ‘n Dale, Pinocchio and Geppetto, Lilo and Stitch, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Aladdin and Jasmine, Pocahontas and John Smith, Mary Poppins and many more:
