Christa, I'll try not to leave you alone here!
My training is going along ok, I acutally just got back from a 2 mile run. Actually it was a run-walk, at 4 min run and 2 min walk intervals. I've started training with a girl I work with, who is a great motivation on my runs..she's done half marathons, and does a great job keeing me going. After she pulls me along in the run, I take her to the pool and make her swim! Wednesday I did about 650 meters with very few breaks, which I was pretty happy with considering I haven't been in the pool much!
As for the bike, Jen(my training partner and I) are both kind of agreeing that it will be iffy. I went on a 5 mile ride yesterday, which had some hills, and was feeling okay this morning, surprisingly!
It's slow-going, but I'm hoping that by August I'll be ready! We're trying to get all of the women from the store to participate in the TRI (and the fact that it is really short and women's only is helping our case!) I have found that training with other people is definitely something I need!
