So after all that voting, Mickey was ready for a day out in the sun! So we headed over to OU to see what was blooming!
He was excited to see so much red! One of his favorite colors!
He even found a small pathway in the shade that he led us through...
And then he found some friends to play follow the leader with...
It didn't take long for Mickey to spy a phone booth! He just had to call Minnie and catch up on all that had been happening with her while she was at Marshay's house having so much fun with her and her daughter! He asked Minnie if she had heard from Dinky Donald...but alas, she had not!
Well, they talked and talked and talked! Finally, Mickey's new pal Zoe Elizabeth went to hurry him up a bit!
Zoe LOVES visiting the campus! She runs everywhere and has the best time! She wanted to show Mickey around the Visitor's Center...
And then one more stop at the stadium...he's pretty little so look close!
It was a fun outing! We'll be seeing more of Mickey a bit later!

(So, we certainly can't blame it on the U.S. Postal Service...)

Nice pool....It looks like you have a nice size yard and once the concrete is poured I can imagine such nice and relaxing pool area. Maybe we can take a dip when our road trip gets to you?
I liked your story about the "smell", that was funny! You're right, those Easter eggs seem to reappear for quite awhile! I finally found our smell, and while I did find a bag of potatoes in our pantry, it wasn't them. I guess my 5 year old thought that our dog (a westie named Annie) needed some healthy vegetables. So she took the rest of our steamed vegetables from last week (broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower) and put them in her dog dishes. She mixed it with the food AND the water. So it was needless to say not a pleasant odor.
