We leave in <22 days (May 3)!! YIKES!! And I still have our tie-dye t-shirts to make, door poster sign, mini-scrapbook itinerary, etc...Me and my creative ideas!!:rotfl2:

EEEK! I just have to come see you!! Or you need to come see me on a scrapbook club night. We are so alike...I do fun itineraries for our trips and the door signs too. One year for the itinerary I just covered mini-composition books which was SO easy. Another year I did another one that was a little more involved and decorated. I bought one of the $1 photo albums at Michael's (the kind that are like those calendars but they're 4x6) and decorated a page for each day. It was still easy and cheap, but just took a little more time.

Pictures of those too when you're done okay? I'd love to see them and it's fun to share your talents with your "family".

Thanks for the lessons on how to be seen as a DISer! I was going to Home Depot today anyway. Now I will be sure to get my LGMH.

Thanks for all the great pictures from WDW.

Maybe someone can help me make a choice - I REALLY want to go to WDW, but the family is too busy and do not want to go. (besides the cost of taking 7 people!) Is going by myself a good idea? Who has gone alone and what was your experience?

thanks for helping!

The rumors of LGMH at HD disappearing are greatly exaggerated!

Home Depot still has them (at least mine does) and I sent someone there in Michigan today and she picked them up fine, too.

I just meant that if she was a Disser, she may have LGMH to give out!

I now need to humble myself. What the heck is LGMH? I must know (in case I need one-whatever it is---I hope it's not a lawn/garden/moter/home or a lazy/girl/man/hyena or a little/green/men/hardhat....Wait...it could be a little/green/men/hardhat from Toy Story!) Someone quick tell me what it is!!!!

Love the xylophone! Now if only my printer worked...it won't print any red/yellow/orange colors but prints blue instead! (And yes, I checked to make sure I put the refill back in the right spot!)

Problem? no Problem!! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Come on Marshay, don't you have enough time to print that Pooh xylophone picture on paper, cut each piece out, trace them on the appropriate colors, and paper piece it back together? It would only take about 4 or 5 hours. You can do it...Go M, Go M, Go M!!

Seriously, it would be darling wouldn't it?

Ahhh! (Yes...) ::yes::

(So, I guess I'm not as informed about the LGMH as I thought! Do you actually trade them (like calling cards), too, or just use them to distinguish yourself and your belongings?) 'Gotta love the lime green!

I always chuckle when I think about flashing the Lime Look to innocent bystanders, who could be accidentally wearing the wrong color... Wonder if it would ever end in a fist-fight! :rotfl:

For anyone who might be scratching his/her head about LGMH (Lime Green Mickey Heads) and said Lime Look: This thread might help!

Oh my gosh, I'm SUCH a dork! I can't believe I didn't get that. I even knew about the paint chips at Home Depot! Okay, it's way too early for me to be posting as I'm not capable of processing at this early hour. My DH just left to get me a Polar Pop at Circle K. I'll blame it on the fact that I haven't had my diet coke this morning.

We're off for the morning to price an entire room full of yard sale stuff. It's a room that is about 10 x 13 and full from side to side and top to bottom with boxes. I'm so dreading it, but it's accumulated for 4 years now and each year I say "We're HAVING that yard sale this year" and we never do. This year we MUST have it in preparation for moving.

Talk amongst yourselves while I'm gone, but don't talk about me okay? (unless it's good).

Cat-o-tigger is there right now and if I'm not mistaken, she's by herself. Well, not exactly by herself, because she's with Tigger and Flat Mickey.

I may find that this has been clarified while catching up, but please forgive my ignorance...LGMH????

You all are very acronym driven here and I am in the process of making a DIS Acronym Translation book to keep up. :lmao:

Don't creat a new one -- there is one on the DIS already...I think it's in the first thread ...I"ll try to find and post a link.

And finally, last but not ever least, Marshay!

The boys and I spent tons of time checking out Dining Room looks, but we just couldn't pick out style for you...

...then we saw this, and all agreed this has to be part of your dining room makeover:

- you need to put in a dance floor, a mirror ball, and tons of good music!

Very cool! Actually we are going with some of those colors -- Seriously!!! After doing the dull kangaroo brown for 9 years, we want COLOR!!!

Just darling!! Do you have the cricut? Do you have Hobby Lobby? If you don't and you need stickers or anything else Disney, let me know. They often run their albums and stickers 1/2 price and they have a great Disney section. I'd be happy to call you from there and go through things with you and then send them on to you.

yep, I have a cricut. Got the regular one for Christmas in 2006 and then ebay'ed that to buy the Expressions for Christmas 2007! I love, love, love it!!

I don't have a Hobby Lobby...we just have Mike's and ACM and both have a really bad Disney selection...ooooh, 1/2 price...now you're talking my language!

Many thanks for the offer! I will have to take you up on that for when I do the post-vaca book. I'm really hoping to finish the ABC book by Monday!

I did enjoy the duck...who doesn't? Glad you got the post joke...err...pre joke...ugh, the joke that I made in the post with your post...there. :) No one else mentioned it...was beginning to wonder if I was on everyone's ignore list. :lmao:

Sorry I didn't post!! I thought it was really funny, too!

Sometimes I just get too busy catching up that I forget to respond to everyone's posts ... but I did laugh at this!!

Oh, now you've got me started!!! I LOVE to see what others are doing! So definitely post anything you want!

This is what I did for last year's mini-schedule...I think I'll do it again since it was super easy.

This is the book I started with (you've probably seen it around craft stores)

There's a DISer named bradk, who hosts an informative web site, which includes a helpful "Disney Acronym Decoder" and a "Guide to PhotoPass," among other things. You'll also notice a lot of his cool photos posted throughout the DISboards. (He's very good at what he does!) I might add: He often gets Disney characters to pose with a Stitch stuffed animal that's dressed according to theme! Very fun! Thanks, Brad!

'Gotta run! Will chat later! (We're getting ready to head into D.C.!)

Yes, I did it! And it was one of my best trips ever!!! I could do whatever I wanted -- ride, shop, talk to others, sleep, get up super early, shop, swim, look around, ride RnR as many times as I wanted, etc.

It was the most "freeing" vacation for me as I could do whatever...and I did not plan anything -- no having to plan for naps or trying to get DH to watch DD while I shop...No worries about DH getting bored or DD breaking something or getting lost!

A downside is meals ... one can feel kind of alone (well, since you are!)...I usually brought magazines or a book to read. I love to observe other folks but sometimes it felt like they knew I was staring at them so then I tried not to look at them...much better for me to just bring something to read.

OH, that would be terrific!! I will try to do something like that!

Thanks DisGeeks!!

Enjoy the cherry blossoms!!

Marshay: For "X" you could say "Xtra Large Ice Cream" and put a pic of the Kitchen Sink from Beaches and Cream.

BTM and KK: I called the printers and they made a mistake! :scared1: They printed up all of the t-shirts and buttons but shipped them to the wrong address. I think they are on their way overseas...

Cat: I love the pics! Thank you for taking the time to post them. I'm sorry about the incident at POFQ and hope you have found some Disney Magic.

Regarding the LGMH: I confess...I work for The Big Orange. I will ask a paint merchant on Monday if the Disney paint is being phased out. I have not heard anything and it is very popular.

That is O.K.!!!!! International voting is allowed and welcome.
