Goodnight all my disboard family!

As in any 'real' family we may get bumps and bruises, and we may have a some different views (or sometimes the SAME views just expressed differently), and just maybe the good times and the bad times aren't in equal proportion....but you know what? I think that this "family" really is there for one another no matter what. I think that if I needed Ann she'd be here. If I needed TimothytheLurker to spy on my neighbor he'd do it, if I needed Justin to lend me an ear he would, and if I needed Kenny to find me a burried treasure so I could buy a matching refrigerator then he'd send me a map. Truth is, we've all got one very magical thing in common. Yet another thing to thank Disney for!

Thanks Amy! Don't just 'think' I would be there for you....know it! I don't cyber-stalk rules , regulations and semi-officials for just any group you know!

Meanwhile, I find it interesting the discussion going on right now.

Ann -you know I've been right with you all the way, and you continue to put into words so much of what I'm feeling, so thank you.

Fleagle - you're right - it did feel like a personal rejection, even in the bottom 1280 videos.

And Kenny - please don't be too offended by this - but you've already won a Disney Dream contest - you can afford to take the tack that we knew when we signed up what the rules were. That is a bunch of malarky. Have you read our posts pointing out we understood the written rules, and we agreed to them, and it's the seemingly lack of adherence to those rules that are making us question the process? And as a winner, at least in the Disney sense, you can't possible understand the way we feel as "losers". I know you tow the Disney line, but in this case I think you missed the boat - yep that big old pirate boat.

Okay, doesn't sound like catotigger, does it. Well I had an experience last night that has moved me beyond my depression about not getting in the top 20 of the contest. My depression now encompasses a bigger sense of Disney.

I don't want to post the whole thing here - it's not appropriate to bring in outside disappointments with Disney here.

Ok, think I'm caught up. It's a little after 4:00 here in Virginia and it's a BEAUTIFUL day.....it's been horribly rainy and cold for over a week. Then, as is typical for Virginia weather, out of the blue the weather changes to 75º and sunny. Love this state.....truly!

I'll be back in a bit.....still want to enjoy some of the outdoors with the fleaglettes!

That said, three very deserving people HAVE moved on in this (can't really call it a job search) competition? contest? casting call? That CB has even put a itsy bitsy shadow on this process by being so evasive and elusive and contradictory has dampened my spirit. Their level of unprofessionalism is evidenced over and over again with respect to this (and frankly, so many other opportunities on their site).

I'm interested to hear what else Ann found.

Hi Everyone! I've been reading but just haven't had time to post in the last two days. I'm doing housework and relaxing tomorrow so I'll post then. I've got lots of things to add to what's been happening for the last 20+ pages.

I'm off to get the blankets and shoes together at the top of the stairs in case we need to head to the basement tonight. We're up for severe weather from 1-4 AM and I'm not excited about potentially getting Katie, Bobbie, and two dogs down there in a timely and orderly fashion. (Can I just say for the umpteenth time that I completely admire single parents who are able to do it all. I really don't know how they do it). Fortunately a tornado siren is about 300 yards from our house as we live right by the school. Tooth, there's no question that I won't hear it, but it really scared me that you didn't hear yours. You may want to move in with me until tornado season is over!

Looks like you will be moving to my neck of the woods then! Newport is about 30/45 minutes east of me..... it is beautiful.

I am coming to your neck of the woods!! I forgot that!!

We lived in Cape Cod for three years so we're excited to go back. We're going to freeze - we've gotten used to California weather but it will be fun.

We're going to take a picture of our feet in the Pacific, drive across the country and take a picture with our feet in the Atlantic!
