Okay: Two of the three contestants -- Justin and Tripp -- come as no surprise! cheer2: Yay, DISers! ) I'm wondering, though, where the third contestant -- David H. -- garnered his support, 'cuz it certainly wasn't from here! Or, did he make a brief appearance during the Great DISbate?!? If I recall correctly, he did, but it was a "blink-or-you'll-miss-it" cameo.

I have to say: I'm really surprised Amy Kate! ('Not quite the "news" I was expecting or hoping to hear... ) And, Meggin, I was convinced the third contestant could be you, too!

I wonder why Disney and CB haven't officially updated the dreamcmo site? Is that reserved for April 14?

Edited to Add: I hope I haven't just offended anyone with my candid remarks... I'm happy for David H.; he had an incredible video. I guess I just hoped that the Top Three would be people we "know." And, I truly expected them all to come from the DISboards! ... Myopic thinking, I guess!

I'm with you DISgeeksfromDC. I believe we all had our favorite 3. Justin and Tripp didn't surprise me either but David H. did. I think he did participate in Fleagle's Great DISbate. Weren't Tangela and Jennifer the only 2 to not join in that evening? Although I'm excited for all three of them, I was hoping for all 3 to be from the "family." For those of the "family" that didn't make it, this is for you.

Damn. The worst part is that they have not updated their site, so I can't claim victory in the pool. I was pretty sure that the announcement would occur today but it hinged on whether the site would auto-update or we would have to wait for someone at Centra marketing or careerbuilder to flip the switch. I guess we'll see if the site is updated tomorrow morning.

As for the selections... I'm ok with 2 of the 3, but I think they picked the wrong David.

Oh... and for the record. I am not CMOI/Josh.

Morning all! I wanted to thank everyone for showing up last night. It sure was fun.

I know by the time I make it back tonight to join in I will have missed a very busy day. Most of the DISnee family had gone to bed by the time the news was released. There weren't too many to share it with last night.

Before I head home from work to get some much needed rest, I would like to congratulate the Top 3. Good job Justin, David, and Tripp. I look forward to the next round of the contest.

Mr. Autopia - Honestly, in the beginning I'll admit I was disappointed that you made the top 10 and Eric didn't...but continuing the honesty I want you to know how MUCH I SINCERELY grew to like you and how funny you are! Your personality really came through here and I couldn't help but root for you! Felt incredibly guilty that I was ever upset that you advanced. And now I feel even worse! I am really sorry that you didn't advance to the top 3. You are one cool grandpa and one of my favs!

I just sat down with my diet coke this morning to see what I missed after I went to bed.

FTC, Boris is fine, he still has 7 other legs to work with. No worries. But I do have a question. I kept hearing a "chirp, chirp, chirp" last night. Do we need to change the batteries in the smoke detectors already? And I kept dreaming that crickets were crawling all over me. All in all, it was a rough night. The Princess and the Pea has nothing on me.

I'm glad the final 3 have finally been announced. Here's a big for our family members who did not make the cut. Logically all of us knew that all of you could not be in the final three, but you truly have the characteristics, characters, and character that a true CMO possesses!

I'm off to shower and take care of a few things. Does anyone know where the laundry room is?

I'm not surprised by Blooper Reel guy -- he had a very creative video -- in fact, I wanted to pick his video for my non-tech award way back in the Discademy Awards Show (and then DisGeeks thankfully pointed out that he used pixie dust at the very end).

So congrats to the Top 3! And I hope you all are thinking of lots of ways to do the next phase (HINT: for the loudest crowd reaction, I suggest you go out and buy about 500 megaphones to hand out to "your" section!!)

I know some are excited about the demographics, but I can't help but be disappointed that they seem to all be the same -- 20ish-40ish males...I was hoping for at least one female to help mix it up a bit on perspective.

However, I really did think that Disney was going to try to go away from the Mom's panel-type person...perhaps they did some voting of their own to "shenenigan" the results?? Remember how the clock counted backwards and the voting time was "extended"?!! HMMMM??!!

Note: The above reference about extra voting is JUST me trying to find some dark humor! It was meant to be funny but stretch the analysis.
