The tooth fairy must be on vacation!

Can you believe that darn tooth fairy forgot my DD's tooth last night....and she didn't leave any money either....she must be on vacation or something.

DH is considering telling DD that the tooth fairy had a talk with Santa(who she got "the scoop" on this year) and decided that since she was a non-believer she wasn't coming anymore.

By the way DD is 11. I know we've clung to this stuff pretty long but I'm not ready for it to go away yet.

So, has the tooth fairy ever forgotten your to visit your children?

She must have been off that night because the next night she reappeared!

Yup! Last month dd (7) was forgotten by the tooth fairy.

dd got a nice note apolgizing for the delay and an extra quarter the next night.

She must be getting pretty busy!
She needs to hire some help

That happened a few times. I made them look under the bed because they must have pushed it off during the night.

Yes, last time my ds had to go look again and the money was there. He must have overlooked it the first time! And last night I think I heard the tooth fairy bringing money around 5:30 AM. I'm so glad she remembered before my son woke up!

Yeah..a few times DD did not get in time for the tooth fairy to come...If you are still awake when she makes her rounds you have to wait intil the next night..

Oh yes...! When DS9 lost his first tooth I completely forgot about it! I went in in the morning to leave his lego advent calendar (it was right before Christmas) and he woke up at the moment when I was placing it on his bureau! He asked me what I was doing and I said I was just checking out what the tooth fairy had left him.
