Hello ya'll. This is Tinkerbell Teen, attempting to write a trip report. It will not be as good as something like MEL HAPPYHAUNT!!!!!!!!!!!*worships*, but hey, I am attempting. I hope to death someone ACTUALLY reads this. By the way, comment on my sense of humour and tell me if it is good enough.

Here goes nothing.

Tinkerbell Teens’ Pretrip.

Hi. Tinkerbell Teen Here, and this is my first trip report. My mom is Plutopuppy, and she was a good plutopuppy on the trip, so we didn’t leave her behind. Bwah. Also, this report will not be all that funny. Sorry in advance. But, however, maybe it will be funny. Whatever. So on with the- Oh yeah- I guess we need a name first. How about The Tink Travellers Hit Disney! The report has a title. It has a plot (duh.). It just needs a cast!

The Tink Travellers-
Me(12):Tinkerbell Teen, Shannon, a Disney Freak in Training. I will be your “Ghost Host” for the trip. I love Stitch and Mickey, and can’t wait for the next trip! The face characters are nice enough, but some of them freak me out. Like Aurora.

Mom: Plutopuppy, Mom, Mommy, My fathers wife. She is the Disney Freak that is training me. Loves chip and dale.

Dad: Dad. Dad. He is just DAD! Not a Disney Freak. We practically had to tie him up to get him there, but once there it wasn’t so bad. Like, how could it ever be BAD?

Tink Teen’s Trip- Part One- Cool Red Trams, Exploding Guysers and Mickey Gloves!

We get up really early to head for Airportland. I pack up my carry-on and race out to the car. Do I have everything? Stuffed cat? Backpack? Mp3 player? Yup, everything is here. As we drive to the airport, I start singing. And do you know how you sing when wearing head-phones? You sing really bad. My mom told me so. After all of the boring checking stuff, we get on the plane. To DETROIT! Why are the Tink Travellers going to Detroit? Because they couldn’t get a direct flight to Orlando. This is the part where you laugh. Or not. After we get to Detroit, we have to wait. A lot. My mom says to me "Wait till we get to Disney." Great. So we pass the time by going on the RED TRAM!!! The red tram is fun. It was like the monorail. You know, it was like a practice monorail, so you can learn to ride the monorail so you don't like fall off of it till certain doom. Except there was no talking Stitch on it. Bah, humbugs. Anyway, now it’s time to go to Orlando. Fun Fun time!

The plane ride went normally, thank goodness.

Now we are in Orlando. Past Mickey Gloves guys and into the Wilderness Lodge line. It’s long. Not really, but it felt like an eternity to a 12 year old. Yet, everything feels like an eternity to a 12 year old. I start lip synching to the songs. You can’t hear lip synching people. It’s cool. Now, we get onto the bus (go magical express! We love it!) and we are asked to raise our hands when they say the name of our hotel. I refrain from screaming “Yeah Baby!” When they say Wilderness Lodge. I just raise my hand. Calmly, all civilized, ya know? After driving for 1,000,000,000,000 years, we get to the WL. YAY!!!! After seeing the room, we go out to see the guyser. It was big, huge, and veeeeeeeery explosive. Beware.

Then, we headed back to the Whispering Canyon Café. I think I will never forgive my mother for making this ADR. There is one thing I should warn you of. The Tink Travellers are not loud. We do not beg attention. We do not scream “Keeeeetchuuuup!!!”. We do not ride wooden ponies. We do not sing. We have no DESIRE TO DO ANY OF THE ABOVE! At least, not in public. Now at home with me and Mom, that’s just another story. So imagine my fear, worry and ANGER when I saw this place. We just avoided the attention. I think we did a good job. Then, some excited, tired, and happy Tink Travellers went to bed.

That is all for day one, since I’m being yelled at to retreat upstairs to work (Bah, Humbug.). See ya’ll later.

Coming up next- My dad goes on Winnie the Pooh- and lives. Read. Now.

Hey Tink.

You seem like a good kid.

Sure do.

Except for your taste in trip reports. TFI.

Branch out from comic books, my friend, there's a great big world of literature just waiting for you to discover!

But, honestly, I am flattered(ish). heh heh.

And... I think it's really a brave thing for you to do. To write a trippie and post it here.

So... mad props to you, Kiddo!

One more thing: Please don't listen to much of what I say. On my trippie. I don't want to be responsible for corrupting such a girl. As yourself.

Keep truckin'.

Cheers, Mel.

Great start! :cool1: Enjoying your trip report. You are doing well and your sense of humour is just right. :thumbsup2 Looking forward to hearing more about your trip.

*screams* MELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm workin. On part 2. Because it's kinda in a rut. I'm editing it. Becuase I originally wrote it to have pics. But then I changed my mind and had to edit the entire thing. And make it funny. Because it wasn't funny. At all.

I also got my braces on today. They're tightening. It hurts a bit. Also, part two is almost ready. And MAD PROPS to anyone else who actually reads this.

I think you are doing a great job. My 12 yr old would never take the time to write a TR (probably because I would stand over his shoulder and make him correct his grammar and spelling) ; ).

We are staying at WL in 2 weeks. I am looking forward to seeing if you liked it.(besides the WCC - my boys think it is funny - but hey they are boys - stupid humor makes them laugh)

Looking forward to more soon!!!

Ah yes, boys will be boys. Especially ones my age. Anyways, here's part 2.

Also glad to hear people are enjoying. It. And the WL rocked all of our socks off. Except now, me and mom have to stay at POP for our next trip, and I'm expecting it to pale in comparison.

Day Two- Magic Kingdom (YEAH BABY!)

After waking up and claiming the fact that I’m going to die of hunger, we head to the MK. Of course, we don’t feed me first, we wait till we get there. I like blueberry muffins. Yummy muffins. Tasty muffins. BIG MUFFINS!!!!!! YUM. BIG YUM!

We got on the boat to head to the kingdom. The second we turned the corner and saw the MK, I’m sure I lost my eyeballs for a second. Mom had the video camera practically shoved up my nose, and then she practically screams “DID YOU SEE IT? DID YOU SEE IT?” I respond with a dirty look into the camera and a “WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?” Then she turned off the camera. Good. If you ask her what happened, you will get a really false response. After getting our bags checked, we went down Main Street and got to the castle. I wanted to go to Fantasyland first, and Cinderellabration was on ( By the way, when we watched it later, it was awesome. I’ll tell you about it later.), so we couldn’t go the castle way. Because it was taken. By Cinderella. Duh.

The moment my mom has been waiting for for her whole life, I experienced my first Disney ride. What was it, you ask? Small World? Space Mountain? BTMRR? No, it was the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Now, here is something you should know about Dad. He likes roller coasters. He loves Mission Sinise. He loves Space Mountain. He’ll ride IASW just because it’s a classic. He’ll go to a character meal but won’t do anything other than take pictures. So, imagine my surprise when he goes on the ride!

We follow the woods ride up with a little Peter Pan, Philharmagic(we are proud to say we DO walk all the way to the end) Small World, and some pretty awesome horsies. By the way, I was watching our video, and guess what? My MOTHER IS RIDING CINDERELLA’S HORSE. The one Beth rode. In the ever-title-changing report of Mel. I’m beside it, and my mother is on it. Urgh.

We had lunch at Cosmic Ray’s. I love the burgers there they are soooo yummy, I want to EAT THEM!! Oh yes….. I can….. sorry bout that. Now, during our luffly lunch there, my parents found out something bad. Really bad. I was sitting there, eating my luffly hamburger, when all of a sudden Mom and Dad realise they FORGOT TO LOCK THE SAFE. Oh no, this is not good. Not good. Not luffly.

So, we had to have a “civilized family discussion”. YEAH RIGHT! How about a giant argument between my parents on Main Street, who need to go to the hotel to check on money and wallets and jewellery and other luffly stuffs, and an almost-teenage girl that does not want to return to the hotel. Guess who won. I’ll give you a hint. 5 mins later the Tink Travellers were on a boat. Luckily, the safe was untouched. Thank goodness for Disney magic. Thanks Walt, much appreciated. Luckingly we came back. Now that is luffly.

Basically, the whole day was spent in Fantasyland. I forget if we went anywhere else. I thought we went to Tomorrowland, but we didn’t. Not till day 3. I think after that, we did go on Pirates. Either today or day 3. If it was today, then I was so scared that I shut my eyes. Now, it is one of the favourites for me and my pirate crazed mom! Arr.

Off to Crystal Palace. For the ADR of lufflyness and doom. We were seated by a window. Next time, I’ll ask not to sit by a window. Please. Not luffly. There were hungry people watching us. And Pooh. No, Pooh wasn’t watching us! The hungry people outside who didn’t make reservations or maybe they did but just felt like watching helpless Tink Travellers so ha ha on them watched him. And everyone else in the Pooh Bunch. No, the Pooh bunch didn’t watch Pooh! Maybe a diagram would help.

o o o o o |____
o o o o o |____| O O

I am such a talented artist.

Then, after a yummy meal (I love their cinnamon rice, YEAH BABY! It’s also luffly.), we took photos of the topiary. I think Disney is famous for it.

We wandered about for a while, but really it was uneventful. We hit the Mountain once, hung out at Buzz, and generally burnt up the time till spectro. Which we viewed from behind a little girl sitting on her dad’s shoulders. Magic for them, NOT SO magic for us.

Then we got back, took some pictures of a rodent’s butt and went to bed. Happily ever after.

I have to go. Fiddle with my braces or eat some jell-o. Cause it’s the heck-only thing I can eat with these stupid things. I’m leaning for jello. Or Calvin on a bun with some ketchup and cheese. Yum, yum yum...... Just kidding Mel, I don’t want to eat the Koala. I can do a pretty mean Koala myself. I demonstrated to Mom.

The next chapter of Doom; We Canadians eat in Canada. Confusing? I think NOT!

O.K. TinkTeen, YOu are really a 20something writing under the guise of a 12 year old! ..........You are one talented young lady........ :cool1:

Nope, I'm just a 12 year old girl who's braces are killing her! Glad you like the trippie. The digram was better in word. But who cares. I'm for sure taking notes next time, this is all written from pictures and memory.

Braces are a punishment.

But a punishment that pays off. In the end.

Go with it.

Just don't eat Turtles. TFI.

Okay.

( I wrote you something else. Too. If you didn't read it PM me. Ok? Perhaps I should have PMed you. But... I didn't think of it at the time.)

You're doing just great. You're brave as all get out. And funny too.

I'm in. So in.

Keep rolling. With it.

Cheers, Mel.

And you wrote me WHAT?

I LOVE IT!!!!

It is so fun to see a 12 year old's point of view!

I was JUST your age, like, yesterday! No wrinkles. No bills. No big responsibilities.
Other than make my bed and feed the dog. Which I HATED! Not the dog, just the feeding of!

Keep up the good work!
You are the Shizzle! (sorry, I was trying too hard, wasn't I)

Love,
UtahMama

I am so so so so so SORRY that the next report chapter was so late! I had school, and we went skating, and it took me a while. So here it is.

Oh, and welcome on board, Utahmama!

The Tink Travellers Hit Disney- Day Three- Magic Kingdom et EPCOT! (Pardon my French.)

When we got up this morning, Mom was going over our plans for today. Like she does every morning. She also added something new to the list- checking the safe 4982309483943 times. Then, I grabbed Pal Mickey and headed for the door. He is like, the fourth member of your loving family. Take us or leave us. We got on the MK boat and sailed off. When we were there, we met Chip and Dale… and the Mickey Stealers. They’re Tweedledee and Tweedledum. They stole my Mickey. From me. Took it off my neck. The lanyard. I mean they were wearing GLOVES, how do you pull something right off of a lanyard? Like a 65$ PAL MICKEY!

Luckily, my dad put him back on for me, and we went off on our merry way….. For our third ride on the carousel. I don’t think either of us had Cindy’s pony. Again. I’m getting it next trip. DOGFIGHT TO THE END! We were going to head to Eppycot, so we headed down Main Street and got sucked into 5 character lines- Robin Hood and Friar Tuck, Baloo and King Louie, Pluto, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse.

We took the boat back to the Wilderness Lodge. The end. Juuuust kidding.

Epcot is our all-around favourite park. Of the wonderful family we speak of.

We took the boat back to the MK and hopped onto the monorail from there. It’s neat on the monorail to Epcot, they give you a mini-tour of the place. Then, we went on Soarin’, Test Track, and briefly went to Innoventions. Then we stopped outside Character Connections. And Dad wanted to take on Mission Sinise. Mom and I didn’t. So Dad left us with Goofy and man-skipped off to find Gary. Which is actually walking. Fast.

After we ALMOST were able to leave Dad as the newest Life On Mars (David Bowie, anyone?) but we had reservations at Le Cellier, so we pulled the cadet out of the Milky Way and headed to Canada. It was like, Canada in a box, it’s so small. We went in for our ADR’s and were seated in Saskatchewan. The prairie province. Our server was very nice and the food was awesomely awesome.

We stayed for Illuminations, but we didn’t really like it too too much. We took the bus back to the Wilderness Lodge and then practically fell into the food court and fell into bed.

Coming up next: We go to the so-far-unmentioned parks in a split day.

:rotfl2: I am loving your trip report, kiddo! You're doing a great job and you sound much older than 12.

Now I'm wondering if I can get my 16 yo to write a TR with me for the scrapbook. I'm sure she has a WAY different memory of the trip than I do. Mine is right, of course, but it would be interesting to see her point of view. :teeth:

And you don't like WCC? That's our favorite--although we are loud and we love to beg for ketchup. We don't embarass easily.

GOOFYsince71: We have to get the money for it ourselves, Pluto(mom) has been taking on a couple part-time jobs and we are hoping for January (before I turn 13!) I guess I should update that. Heh heh.

NMAmy: Nope, we will NOT be going back to the Canyon, nevertheless the Lodge. We loved it but it was waaaay too expensive. Ask your 16 year old, but don't force them, I'm doing this on my own initiative with NO HELP!

Hey - Thanks for the post in my TR - thought I would check out yours. It's great so far - you seem much older than 12. I just bet your mom is so pleased that you're writing this - she'll have a wonderful keepsake for her scrapbook.

After reading mine, my 15 year old DD is also writing her own TR - she said she wants to tell her VERSION of the story. I'm just a bit worried she'll embarrass me or post pics of me - unapproved - you know, like morning shots or something silly like that since she took alot of her own pictures. Ack.

Anyhow, keep it coming...JoJo and I want to hear all about your trip!

But...I'm pretty sure your braces don't hurt anymore.

So... I didn't want you to forget about this.

My friend.

Cheers, Mel.

Look at my next post. Day 4 will magically appear.

Day 4- Animal Kingdom and MGM!

We got up. We checked the safe again. got a bus ride to the Animal Kingdom. There were two little kids in our bus, and the first thing the little boy said after we started moving was “ARE WE THERE YET?” Then, the entire bus started laughing! If their mother or father is reading this, then I hope you lived close to Disney for the trip home.

It was stifling hot when we arrived. We headed in and right to the trails where we can meet Mickey and his cohorts. Which we did.

Then, we did something we only did once like this the entire trip. We split up. Into 3 groups. And no, Pal Mickey wasn’t alone. Me and him went into the Kilamanjaro Safaris line, Mom waited outside by the entrance for Dad, who ran to Everest for FASTPASSes. We waited in that line for like 20 minutes. No sign of Mom. We watched the nature videos. We realized how CLOSE WE WERE TO THE ENTRANCE. Then I see Mom coming up with the ‘COME OUT OF THIS LINE!’ gesture, so we obeyed. Aaaaaaand then Dad comes over with the FASTPASSes. We go back through and then are stopped around the part with the phone. I go “Hey Mom! It’s the Banker!” and she laughs. We go in- and were lucky enough to get the FRONT SEAT! Right behind the driver! YES! I don’t know if we will ever be that fortunate again. But we hope so. Pixie, pixie, pixie dust!

After our lunch at Pizzafari which was good except I am never getting that souvenir cup again, we gave our FASTPASSES away because we wanted to go to MGM and didn’t have time for Everest. SO, we adventured on over to MGM, where we bypassed the TOT and RNR and went to……. You guessed it. The Muppets. I LOVE the muppets. I was sick after we got back from Disney, Dad was at work, and Mom was walking our dog. So I watched the Muppets on TV. I’ll take the 3D show. But thanks. Anyway.

I’ll give you my dirty little secret- Me and Mom hate thrill thrill rides. TOT, RNR and Mission:Sinise are on our NO NO LIST. Mine’s on the fridge reminding me of what I can’t eat with my braces. But I don’t listen and eat Skittles. Too. And I don’t eat Turtles. Like Mel said. I’m taking this as a BAD IDEA.

ANYWAYS, we went to the Overgrown Garden. And took a really bad picture of me sitting on a leaf. I didn’t go on the ant. Cause I was tired. Just so ya know.

Then we had ADR’s at Sci-Fi. Mom really wanted to go there because of the movies. It was awesome. I drove. And ate a hamburger. Too. And we stuck Dad in the backseat. Ha ha.

Then……….. I think we left. Took the bus. Back to the Lodge. And fell asleep. So…. Erm….. that’s day 4. :) Sorry for the lateness.

I was tempted to do something devilish like picture-of-mom-posting... but I won't. I'm thinking of putting some pics from days 1-4 on my next post. cause. It's fun.
