Just wanted to see if there are any other Time Traveler's Wife fans as excited as I am about the movie release Aug 14.

I am so excited. I love the book, love Rachel McAdams & LOVE LOVE LOVE Eric Bana!!!

The previews look great! I'm going to have to get the book from the library and read it first though.
I love Rachel McAdams, too ~ haven't been disappointed by any of her performances yet!

I recently read the book..... but.... I CAN'T finish it!!! I'm so close to the end, but I don't want it to end. I was crying so much I quit reading.

THen I saw the movie trailer! I had no idea they made a movie about it!! I really should force myself to finish it, but I'll skip the movie. It'll stress me out. Really. I can only watch comedies. Except those Are We There Yet? movies -- those kids stress me out, I had to leave the living room.

I have been waiting for them to come out with this movie forever because they kept postponing it... well... they finally announced the Aug 14 release date and my due date to have my first kid is Aug 15!! I've already decided I don't care and as long as I'm not in the hospital I will be in the movie theater on the 14th, lol

I really hope they do a good job with it though because I do love the book so much. I think the commercials look good so far

I can't wait, its my absolute favorite book. I am usually disappointed with the movie adaptation so I'm really hoping this one is good.

I just finished the book last night. I really am curious to see how they're going to put the book into the screen. I'll probably wait for the DVD/BD though.

Having a hard time getting excited for this movie after just seeing " My Sister's Keeper". That was such a bummer! I loved Time Traveler and don't want to see it destroyed the Sister's Keeper was. I will probably go though... and then complain!

I know me too! I kept checking imbd.com for the new release date. They kept changing it on me. Then I remember thinking how far away Aug 14 was when they finally decided on it!

I heard the reason it was pushed back was because there was some re-shoots needed after the movie was completed but Bana had already completely shaved his head for the Star Trek movie, so they had to wait until his hair grew back.

I don't know why they felt the need to wait... this is exactly what I thought of when I pictured Henry.

I LOVE this guy! When he was in the hulk and had those blue contacts in he looked just like my dh!! He is just one of the reasons I do not like brad pitt lol pitt killed him in troy AND cheated on jen!! lol I will go see this movie..

I have been eagerly awaiting this movie for the LONGEST time. It was originally slated for a Christmas 2008 release but got pushed back. I think that Eric Bana is DREAMY and a perfect choice for the role. I also like just about everything that Rachel McAdams has been in.

That's what I'm saying! I'm so in love. Pitt, Bloom... not for me! I watch Troy all the time & stop it just before he dies.

I LOVE him in The Other Boleyn Girl. He actually makes king henry attractive & not look like the sleezy, creep he really was.

I read this book when it was first released and loved it. I also love Eric Bana.

There are so few screen adaptations of books that I feel are worthy so I probably will wait until I hear reviews from others before I see it.

I'm sort of excited for the movie. I read the book for the first time a few months ago. I think Rachel and Eric were great casting choices. I hope the book is adapted well for the screen. I will probably see it in the theater.
