Wow, I leave you all alone for a few hours and look what I come back to!!!


Sadly, this is all still better than my day!!!!!

Went to breakfast with my husband after he tried to say: Maybe I better just go to work! (NOT HAPPENING PAL).
Upon leaving the restaurant, his car engine light on his piece of crap old junky SUV comes on so I have to follow him to Pep boys to have it fixed AGAIN.
This means he works from home. ( I know, honey, stay away from the laptop).
Go do my thing at Kaitlin's school. She tells me I have a headache.

Uh huh, that's nice honey, not falling for that one again. Bye.

Get home (after waiting in the kindergarten line for Kevin) and school nurse calls. Can I please come back and get Kaitlin. She has a headache. (the school nurse and I are close personal friends this year).

I go to take her some Motrin and make her stay at school and her heart rate is 158 and she is flushed (but no fever) but still with headache. ( forgot to take my purse in but I throw myself on the mercy of the dragon lady secretaries and they decide I can take my kid home without my ID.) Like they have never seen me before in their life!

Call the doctor who wants to immediately see her which requires a turnpike drive. Wait there for an hour to have them tell me that maybe it is just allergies or might be sinus infection. here is antibiotic.

Dan calls me and tells me is piece of crap car is done ($250 later)which requires more driving on my part.

Oh and BTW honey, the video card came while you were gone, but it is still NOT WORKING!!!!!

I sent him to pick up prescription, Kaitlin is in bed, Kevin has gameboy and I have commandeered the laptop.

OK, complaint over. BAck to the fun.

Well, after Dan just spent hours on phone with guy from India trying to get the new video card to work by taking apart the whole computer and putting it back together. It looks like we need to take it to the store to have them fix it. Wow! Why didn't I think of that, like say, LAST WEEK! (told ya so, honey!)

Kaitlin is much better, in fact doesn't look too sick to me. But I will keep her home for bedrest tomorrow as instructed by the Doctor.

Thanks for the hugs, Lars! How'd we do on that Lottery ticket? Then I will go buy anything but a GATEWAY computer! How about a nice wireless thingy laptop???????
