The Three Caballeros Day 7 - Swimming & MK

I woke up at about 7am, from a great night’s sleep, and Niamh & Aodhan weren’t far behind. We went down for something to eat at Roaring Forks and then we went back to the room to change into our swimming stuff. We spent a nice morning by the pool and while we were there Niamh got a hair wrap. We were getting hungry so we decided to head into MK for lunch. We caught the boat over and took a few pictures on the way (including one of our new “home” )

The kids wanted Cosmic Rays so that’s where we went. Once we’d finished we spent the rest of our time going on some of our favourite rides and looking at the Halloween decorations.

We were making our way into Adventure Land for a Dole Whip and just as we got there it started to rain.

Luckily we found some seats and sat around for about 40 minutes. The rain got heavier & heavier and didn’t look like it was going to let up. We gave in and bought 3 ponchos, even though we had some back in the room as we needed to get to our ADR at 1900PF.

We splashed our way up Main Street and took the resort monorail over to the Grand Floridian. We got there at about 5pm but we were seated immediately. This restaurant has become a lot noisier since we were last there and I didn’t rate the food selection as much as H&V yesterday. It was full of young princes and princesses, most of whom had been to Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. We did have some great character interaction from the Wicked Stepmother and the Ugly Sisters but I don’t think we’d bother with 1900PF again.

It was still raining when we left so we came back to WL, the kids used up their arcade credits and then we went up to the room where we watched the US version of Dancing with the Stars.

Love the falling rain. I remember dashing into the Tiki Room's during one such storm! So glad we did otherwise we would have missed this!
