The "This is the BEST VACTION EVER!" Trip Report Part 2

Yeah, so I didn't get that installment up yet, but I wanted to check in. Weekends are VERY busy here with Will's baseball. We don't have another game until Saturday (practices tomorrow and Thursday) so hopefully today or tomorrow I'll manage something.

We're going to see Toy Story 3 today. :) Will's still asleep though. Playing baseball all day in the sun wears a boy out. And it's been HOT here.

Check in with you all soon!

Hey Julie! SO excited you got a Cricut. I love mine. Haven't used it in a while...haven't scrapped much at all in a while...but I still love mine. Best scrapping tool I ever got. I looked over your blog and I love the books you made. I'll bet those kids you made them for did too. Can't wait to see what you come up with for this trip.

Hope the twins had a great birthday. Are your kids out of school yet?

I haven't actually talked to my friend since that got back a week ago...so I can't wait to see the books filled w/ pictures...I know her and her DH loved them...thank you :goodvibes

Yes the twins had a wonderful b-day the beginning of May and summer is in full swing for us here onto week 3.

Joining in! popcorn::

:Welcome:

Yeah, so I didn't get an update done this week. Sorry. I've got to get better at this. But weekends are full of baseball. We're at District this weekend. Won one, lost one yesterday. So once we lose again we're out. Hoping to win both games today. The boys are definitely capable, but they're also very emotional...all 12 of them. So getting behind can sometimes mean disaster.

I doubt I'll get anything up today, but the kids have VBS this week, so tomorrow is a possibility. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi Heather! Great trip report so far! I read the entire PTR and what you've posted of the TR in one sitting. Both of the boys are adorable! I know how busy life gets with all the activities (ballet, piano, etc.). Please post again really soon! :)

I hope everything is ok with the family :confused3 We are waiting patiently - can't wait to read all about when her grandparents arrive

I've seen Heather over on Facebook. I know the boys are playing baseball this Summer so she's probably busy. I'll see if I can send her a Facebook message telling her that everybody wants her to come back to the Dis.

Ok, wow, I'm kinda in shock this thing is still open. Guess you guys deserve an update, huh?

My phone rang at 7:49am. I was probably half awake, but there was no one on the phone (even though caller ID told me it was my SIL, Val) so I assumed my nephew had found the phone and was playing with it. I hung up.

Christian woke up at 8:00am and went into my parents' room...where they are still in bed. A few minutes later my brother and my grandparents knock on my parents' door. Mom sends them to get coffee. Then we all get up and get ready.

After we're all ready we meet my cousin and her husband in the lobby and have breakfast in the food court. Matt and I both got the "Big Breakfast". Will got a waffle and Christian shared with the rest of us.

The kids were excited to see Granny and Papa, but at this point I think they were kinda used to the surprises. Big hugs all around. :) Everyone was done eating before my mom even got down to breakfast. So we all had to wait for her. This is not unusual.

After breakfast we went to the lobby and took a bunch of family pictures.

Then my Chrissy (my cousin) and her family left and the rest of us got on the bus for the park of the day: EPCOT.

I love EPCOT, so I was pretty excited about this. I was hoping the kids would love it, but wasn't sure. It's not always at the top of kids' lists.

Once we got through bag check and got into the park we took a couple of just us Photopass pictures. Most everyone else had gone to Guest Relations. My parents and grandparents needed to activate their tickets. My brother had to get his free Gift Card (he already had tickets) because today was his birthday. LUCKY.

Once everyone was inside we took some BIG group pictures (though we'd take an even bigger one later in the trip).

Mom and Granny then stopped at the bathroom and everyone stopped but us. I went on and got Soarin' Fastpasses (Christian's finally big enough!) and then headed for Character Connection to wait in line. They all rode Spaceship Earth and then caught up with us just as our turn to meet the characters came. We got Photopass pics, but my dad also took pictures on his camera.

And, by the way, let me just take this time to endorse the Photopass CD. We always prebuy the CD. Always. We're going to get as many Photopass pictures as we possibly can, and the CD is always worth it. It was even better when you could get the photoshoot free (we didn't end up doing it this time), but it's still totally worth it. We use the heck out of the Photopass Photographers.

After we finished at Character Connection we headed to Mouseworks (LOVE this store!) where my dad and Granny got hats. While we were there Gram and Harold (other grandma and her boyfriend) called and my Dad and Matt left to meet them at the front of the park. Bill (my brother), Val (SIL), Julie (her mom), and Little Billy (nephew) headed to the land. We took the boys back into Mouseworks so Mom could buy them something. They had a surprisingly hard time choosing. Guess that store is a little overwhelming. They finally decided on Buzz Lightyear blasters. Plus Will got a diecast 2009 bus (he has a collection of these buses) and Christian got a Buzz vehicle. Mom also got Little Billy a Mickey and Me tote bag.

Matt called and we met him, Dad, G.G., and Harold at The Land. My brother wasn't there.

I know this is a short update, but by the time I found all the pictures I needed (they aren't on this computer, which is new since last time) it took a while. Plus I have a job now. And I have to work tomorrow. Long week. I'm pretty tired. So I will try very hard to have more of this day up soon.

I know you don't believe me. It's okay. I don't blame you.

But I will try. ;)

HEY HEATHER! You're back and I'm glad to see ya!

The update was great even if it was a short one. I agree with you about the Photopass CD. I have bought it for the past two years and it was fantastic.

Hope you get a chance to post more soon.
