My parents know I'm a smart cookie and that I pay attention in my heath/bio classes.

i'm open with my mom about that sort of stuff though.
so though i never got a 'formal talk', she taught me to be safe and such.

Same as most, through school and the media. I don't ever remember a time when I didn't know about sex.

i learned everything i needed to know before school got to me.
i just told my mom i already knew when she attempted to talk to me about it.

I never got the talk. I learnt most of it from friends and school. It really isn't that bad. We have Sex Education once in a while at school and it can be really annoying because I have really immature boys in my class. They seem to think everything is funny.

Eh, I never really got it. My mom gave me the 'period talk' after my cousin got hers when she was sleeping over. I pretty much just learned about it from my friends and tv and such.

Hopefully my parents have realized I'm way too old for one now, that would just be extremely awkward.

I was living with my grandma from the age of 11 till about 13/14 so i kinda got the 'period talk' from my Grandma. I quickly explained that i knew the facts thank you......before the whole convo became TOO embarassing.

I learned a lot in school; and then once I got older my sister and I talked about it. I'm almost 16, and she's 21. So it wasn't awkward talking to her about it. My mom and I have a great relationship so I'm not afraid to just bring it up in conversation. If I have a question I know I can ask them. I think it's better knowing from your mom, and older sister (if you have one) then thinking you know everything about it, from things you learn in school. Chances are some of the things you hear, aren't true.

i think it might have been like 5th grade. but i had already known most of the basics by that point so it wasn't really needed...which made it even more awakward
