how old where you when you had the "talk"?

How old was I when given the talk? I'm still waiting and my mom has been gone over 10 years.

I do not remember the exact age but it was around 11 or 12. It was horrible. :scared1: My parents decided my father would do it. They were liberal & it was after the Billy Jean King & Bobby rigs match. They thought it was so beautiful that my father was doing this. I remember the words coming out of his mouth & just thinking OMG OMG this is so gross & disgusting why is he telling me this!

I just gave my Mom a hard time about this.

i was 8 and we started FLE in 3rd grade. every time i came out of that class and got home my mom would say "so how was school" and i would say "filled with the talk" every time i thought "OMG OMG this is so gross!"

I was 12. Dad had visual aids and all. That clicking noise still haunts me.Super 8 was not that good .

We have had preliminary talks with DD at 12 and agian a bit more detailed when a girl from her last years soccer team that was heading into the 9th grade and now is about to drop a bundle of Joy.

I didn't have "the talk," I had "the READ." At age 10.

Penthouse, Playboy, Hustler... :scared:

The one time my parents gave me the talk was in 3rd grade. It was just the facts...here are the parts, and this is how they function.

I got more info in 5th grade during sex ed and again in junior high health class.

Never had "the talk". I did see a very educational film program with the other girls in the class while the nuns monitored the room.

I never had the talk, either.
I saw a film in 5th grade. Girls in one room and boys in another room.
I'm not sure how I found out, but I have 2 kids, so I must have known something. :lmao:

My dad had "the talk" with me when I was 6. The talk came because my older brother, who was 10 at the time, got "the talk," and dad knew that the first order of business for my brother would be informing me of his new-found knowledge. Of course, dad was about 15 minutes too late. My brother got to me first, so when dad started to talk to me, I cut him off and said, "Dad, I know all about that.

Dad said, "Ok...tell me how babies are made."

I responded, "You put your thingy in a girls thingy and pee."

Dad laughed (how could he not?), and said, "That's close enough for now."

Hoping you got the rest figured out by now.

My "talk" consisted of me being in the passenger seat of the car, mom driving, stopped at a red light and mom says "You better not get pregnant because I'm not raising anyones kid!":sad2: Funny thing was I got "the talk" because I was really good friends with a guy I went to school with - we were both seniors so ya think I would already have figured things out way before that  Oh, and we were JUST friends...no monkey business going on ;)

Ya gotta love being in the car with your folks and hearing "Trojan man!!!" coming from the radio

In 5th grade after the school's "Mother/Daughter Tea". We got all dressed up and went to the school (it was at night). I was shocked and horrified that the Mother/Daughter Tea had nothing to do with tea and little sandwiches! :lmao: And they sent samples of femine products home too! I was so disappointed! :rotfl:

I was in 5th grade when we had our introduction to the male & female reproductive anatomy in school - parent/child workshop included. Probably about 10.

never had the talk....I grew up with my Grandparents until around the end of junior high, beginning of high school and my mom asked me if there was anything i needed to know.

Are we related? My father scarred me for life around that age, too. I remember clearly him saying "Now remember, you can't make spit babies". I was horrified!!!!!
