At this point I needed a restroom fast and we dodged around the crowds watching the tail end of the 1st parade at the end of MS then we headed up MS via the shops to grab a spot in front of the castle to wait for
Hallo-Wishes to begin. I couldn’t wait for this!
We had about ½ hr till the show and got a great spot dead in front [wink] we probably didn’t need to arrive so soon, but we wanted an awesome spot. While we waited, Matt went in search of something to drink but the wait at Casey’s Corner was too long, so we took turns at the nearby drinking fountains. He also snapped a couple pictures of me in front of the castle:
These are a few of the only pictures of my beating heart…it was so very cool! Matt did an awesome job making this part of my costume!
and now "This is Halloween...!"
I shot two videos off my camera too, while we watched, this is the 2nd one so stick w/ it and you'll see the finale:
We were not disappointed the Fireworks were the BEST we have yet to see in the park…we loved every minute of this show! It was so fun…the displays on the castle, the colors and the music and soundtrack were all so good. It’s definitely worth the admission price! Matt got some great pictures of the castle and fireworks, plus I threw in one of the photos from the PP CD too!
After the show we decided to go on a ride before meeting up w/ Michelle for the Boo to You Parade. We headed for
POC and stopped for another PP opp:
We saw this cute couple dressed as gnomes and asked to take their picture for Nathan he is obsessed w/ gnomes and has quite the growing collection.
Once again guests stopped us and the CM’s working the ride made some fun jokes at poor Matt’s dead expense…
We stopped in Pecos Bill for some drinks and I grabbed some paper towels to try and dry my feet and shoes, despite the fact it wasn’t raining anymore, the pavement was still wet and the inner lining in my dress just soaked up the water and was making it a bit slick in my shoes.
While inside we spotted some great guests dressed like this
Sally:
Now the funny story is I said hello to her as we walked by her table as “Hi Sally” and commented her costume looked great, she passed along the same compliment…I then wanted to get my pix w/ her and when I went up to her she didn’t quite see me and when she turned to me I apparently scared the carp out of her…whoops…well at least she was still a good sport and took the picture.
We made it over to the
parade spot w/ just a few minutes to spare, good thing we had seats waiting for us. Michelle was so sweet and laid a plastic tarp down for me to sit on too.
The parade was so fun, I loved seeing so many cool things and the music was fun and pretty catchy too…we had a hard time taking pictures but here are just a few plus some from the PP CD again:
We loved this part of the parade!
We didn’t get to see the Headless Horseman and were quite bummed, the pavement was too wet for the horse…so I guess we’ll just have to go again…
