I was sitting with a friend of mine (a girl) and and another girl walked in and asked us if we were "may red." It took me second but I got it.

Oh now i get it, may red, i was the other girl you were talking to when she came in and asked us that question...haha

I use "woot" all the time and I am 38 years old. All of my VMK friends (adults and children) use it as well. It is just a gamer's term - it stands for "We own other team." I didn't realize that using this expression would cause others to think I was a child! Not that I care - I will continue to woot woot!

I know that some adults use it (that is why I said most lol) I never realized what it meant until I read these boards and as I think about it, I think that some of the players use it incorrectly (in the wrong situations lol) lol. I guess it would be fine to hear in any of the games, but I think I am starting to hear it all too much in places other than game rooms lol.

I think there should be a censor that when you see the words "are you taken" a computer bans that person! I wish it would be possible to stop unneed bans to players who do not deserve it.

I didn't read much of this, I just wanted to post my opinion. I am completely against the whole Taken issue. You don't even know the person! It's one thing playing games and talking to them, but its not even real. And it's not safe. My 9 year old neighbor went out with what she said was an 18 year old on there. The only reason she wanted one was because her 7 year old brother had had like 3. BTW, I don't think he was 18, he was probably like 8, or 10, and she miss counted. (They ask each other to type "hi" for how old they are, hi hi hi... etc,) So I am very much against it. But that is just my two cents.
