The Tagliarchy Mansion

Good afternoon TAGLIKINS!

You people are too much.......I've started the Atkins diet......and boy do I really miss sweets....and that fudge brownie pie recipe just about sent me over the edge........grrrrrrrrrrr

Good evening all from a beautiful spring day in England,
The weather here is getting better. It snowed a little on Friday but not much. Yesterday was 59 degrees and today was just slightly cooler (I even did playground duty with out my coat on so it had to be warmer!)
I'm really looking forward to the swap. I'll have to go to the travel exchange at the weekend to get some $$ (it reminds me of preparing to go to WDW.) I have to go pick my euros up on Saturday so I can pick some $$ up at the same time. I think I'll also go searching for postcards of where I live too on Saturday.

So does anyone have any good plans for this evening? We just had dinner (mixed vegetable cheese - no parsnips in there though!) then a low fat bread and butter pudding. I guess tonight I plan to veg out in front of the TV whilst doing my classes homework sheets.

Have a good day everyone :wave2:

Oh by the way, have we decided which house we are moving to and do we have a moving date yet? It's just that I have to start bagging up my stash of Cadburys chocolate (from the origional factory at Bourneville!)

Well, I'm glad you asked Rick. The boys are having what they call "A boys night in" with pizza and wings. Rob is going to try to rent "Darby O'Gill and the Little People". He bought the DVD on Amazon, but he won't get it until August.

Now, as for MEEEEEEEEE, we are having our monthly "girls' night out" which we haven't had since November. This group has been friends for years. One of these girls I've pal'ed around with since junior high and another since high school. It is a wild bunch. We will probably meet at a local yocal pub first, then we'll head over to our favorite hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant for dinner. We like it there, because the owner loves us and let's us be loud and close the joint. :jumping1: It's a very "Sex and the City" kind of group. ;) Except we're all married with children. :p

See, this is why I shouldn't spend the day watching after and playing with Ella, took me forever to get caught up on the posts.

What's everyone making/having for dinner tonight? Told the other half I'm too tired to make anything big. So I'm whipping up a ham/cheese fritatta. Toast as well.

Rick you are the king (or should I say queen? ) of the fritatta. They have some good ones at the Crystal Palace breakfast, have you been to it?

Ok, Miss Barb, it is rustic, looks like something you would see where I used to live. (The place with the snakes but no solicitors.) But, I have moved on. Decisions are being made right now about the house and I have been working with the folks at Disney and have acquired the property to put the house on.

I'm off to work on the new house now. There are just a few minor details to work out. Shutting down the waterways for a bit so they can boat the new house in and place it on the grounds. It's going to be really cool.

Don't have time to respond to everyone right now, but I can answer the dinner thing pretty easy. Baked spaghetti pie. It will be yummy. With garlic toast and salad. Can't wait.

RRBB and Ohanafamily, both of you cut it out. Get a room already.;)

And of course, there's 30. Means you can be ill tempered due to your age (much like being 13).

Just for future reference....I now have permission to be ill-tempered!! Yay!!

Now, normally I'm pretty easy-going, but it's nice to know I'm now officially entitled to be grumpy if I so desire, just because I'm 30! Let the grumbling begin

Okay, first the Irish question:

I'm about 1/4 Irish, 1/4 Scottish and 1/2 English - and a Presbyterian to boot.......I know, pretty darn Waspy.....

2nd question:

I turned 39 last May 4 and will remain 39 until my dying days!!!!!!!

Gotta run pick up my little monster from school......I'll check back in later........

.....send me a PM if you move while I'm gone......:teeth:

Anybody got an ancient smiley face for me? ... I'll be 48 in December. My oldest is 24 and my youngest will be 11 in April. I can't even remember 40, you young whippersnappers.

Bichon Barb I love your avatar. Maybe I need to find one of a Bichon Havanese ... but then I'd need to drop my new Tink... which I can't do yet.

Going to the recipe box for Incredibly Scrumptious Brownie Pie...
llebrekniT - I'll post a big warning sign before the recipe so you can know to make note of the page, skip it, and go back later. Will the recipe follow us to our new home?

Toby and Tucker need to go out so I'll be back later. You should see Tucker in the snow. He's only 8 months old, and white, and the snow is up to his hiney, so all you see is this fluffy tail sticking up. He kind of jumps through it like Pepe Le Peu, so there is this burst of fur every so often.
:yo-yo:
Ok...in exchange for the aforementioned recipe I humbly offer you a selection of new avatars...

Is this the right pooch? A few choices...

You're welcome! DH calls me a "research queen" (how boring). But what that means is he can call me from work, tell me what he needs, and I can usually have it for him before he hangs up. Whatever it is...reservations in Germany, a real estate agent, free (good) legal advice, a passport with only a few days to spare...whatever...what would he do without me? But my skills can be used for fun, too....so glad you like the pooch :)

Now if someone would just PAY me to spend all my time on the computer, we'd have it made!!

Well, I just spent about 1/2 hour preparing a wonderful new thread for our home. Clicked on preview thread and it said I needed to login, which I already was.

Clicked the back arrow, clicked the forward arrow. Gone, gone, gone.

It's all gone. The new house is lost.

I'm gonna cry.

I don't even feel like looking for a crying smilie, it's that bad.

I gotta go.

Gotta start all over.

bye.
