The Sweet Meet - Dis'ers do Hershey

I'll help you with the list if you'd like Andrea. You know I'm official! :cool2:

Thanks George - I think I'm going to update my first post w/the people who want to officially say they are coming and if they are booked at the hotel. I'm trying to get an idea of the amount of people we are looking at. A lot of people aren't posting on this thread, but are PM'ing me for the hotel info, so it may be difficult to keep track.

Just looked at the actual park for the first time - I'm a wooden rollercoaster fan and wooo-hooooo there's lots of them here! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

The Roller Soaker is going to be a blast - either you ride or we dump 4 gallons of water on ya :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm riding! Who else??!! :lmao: :lmao:

pssst...don't tell anyone about the water canyons the spectators can use ...eeek!

cheers,
:flower3:

They do have some big coasters! You will be in for a treat (provided that the lines aren't crazy long!)

I love thrill rides unfortunately Deb does not. She has promised someday she'll do (1), just (1), of either TZTot, RnRC, BTMRR, or EE. I want her to do EE with the yeti working of course.

I'll have to ride all the coasters solo in Hershey I'm afraid. :sad1:

I'm with Deb, I'm a chicken... The scariest ride I'll do is Splash Mountain. I'm sure Alicia will go on all the thrill rides with you!

You'll never ride solo on this trip!

Room has been booked for 2 nights.

Dodie and I are in :woohoo:. Poor Phillip is out :sad1:

During ABD, we pecked at the Imagineer who did the tour and asked about the Yeti being in perpetual B (or C or D) mode and he said that maintenance had basically given up :sad2:

Do BTMRR with Deb - not too scary and pretty fun to do. Hopefully when the ride is over she'll feel the same way and want to try something else. If you start her on ToT or EE, there's no hope :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Looks like you'll have LOTSA ride buddies! :cool1:

:thumbsup2

That water coaster didn't do much for me, but I'm more of a thrill ride guy anyway. Heading to Cedar Point with a bunch of 8th graders on June 15th. Then Holiday World at the end of June....wow, I'm a theme park junkie hu....

wow, didn't even know there were so many theme parks :worship: Those kids are certainly gonna be surprised with their chaperone :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am official and booked at the hotel. :woohoo:

And I like thrill rides. :)

:thumbsup2

Andrea, pls add DH & me to the official list! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

It would be nice to have an official tally and where everyone is staying but if they don't check back into this thread, there isn't much you can do. Just holler if you need anything.

We are at the hotel you originally suggested, Comfort Suites in Hummelstown.
Me, Deb, and grandson Alan 11.

She does like Splash. :goodvibes

Pardon me if I missed the information, but is there a projected or suggested itinerary / activities? We are about 60-75 minutes away ... thoughts on staying at hotel, versus schleppng home? Will we be opening & closing the parks ... or do we anticipate other activities througout the day.

Well, let's see . . .

Hotel (group rate) is booked . . .

Car is rented . . .

Airfare is booked and paid for . . .

Guess that means I"M OFFICIAL!!!

There has been no itinerary made yet. I'm not sure what you mean by other activities. I would assume the plan would be to go to the park after breakfast, and go on rides, ect.. either as groups or individual families, or whatever. I'm sure people may leave the park, maybe go to dinner, ect.. then go back in the evening, but, nothing has been discussed yet.
