The Superfamily February 2009!! We're taking on the world!! MAJOR UPDATE 1/7

I'm anxious to hear you report on how much is up in the way of Christmas decor in resorts and in parks other than Magic Kingdom. I know pictures are already being posted of MK, which is exciting enough. We get to experience Thanksgiving, and then starting the next day, we'll immerse ourselves in Christmas Disney style. Unfortunately, no December trip for us this time, since Jill is sort of 'great with child', so whatever Christmasy stuff we get in on this trip will have to do until next year.

I hope you have a great trip - great weather, great crowd level, great everything! For sure get to MVMCP as soon as you can so you can get as much in as possible. I look forward to seeing your pictures!

Thank you MeMom!!! I have been checking the weather and they are calling for some showers at the end of the week. I am hoping it changes!!
I am excited about really checking out the decorations this year. We mostly just let Hollie ride rides and get pictures last year. But, she really loved the MVMCP!!

Did anyone catch Desperate Housewives tonight? I missed it and I am dying to know what happened!!

I haven't seen that in forever. Is that good-looking Jamie Denton still in that show? He's from right here in my neck 'o the woods. He went to the same high school I did, but he was a bit younger. He was a friend of my sister. He was a cute little guy back then, but he's 'wow' as a grown man! It's really so weird to see him on TV though, because I just still picture him with the long hair and the very short basketball shorts and knee socks they wore back then. I still see him as a little kid, yet he's probably one of the most handsome men in America!

I watched the show a few times when it first came on, just to see him, but I lost interest pretty quickly, since I'm not much of a soap opera person. I really don't know if he's even still on or if he got killed off or anything.

Desperate Housewives was really good last night! Shocking for me because I've missed the last 1 and 1/2 episodes so I'm not sure what all is going on. Now I have to go back and watch online.

Yes!! We added the Chef Mickey's for dinner for one night! We have never been there for dinner before! We are so excited!!

Okay, so I decided to put our plans for this week. I am sure I have before, but I am so darn excited I am doing it again!!!!!

Wednesday
Leave at 1 am!
Once we arrive and check in, its a tradition of ours to go to Denny's. I don't have a clue why, since there are some up here!

3 pm: Go to the Poly resort and ride sea raycers so I can video tape around bay lake!
Once we are done with that, we are hitting the Tambu Lounge for the oh-so-yummy lapu lapu! Chad is getting the backscratcher. After my lapu lapu, I plan on trying a Malibu Macaw. Then we are going to wait for our 8 pm ADR at the Spirit of Polynesia Luau. I plan on getting a naughty monkey with a blue hawaiian in it! Yummo!!!

Thursday:
Get to Epcot before it opens! Enjoy Future World until our ADR at San Angel Inn at 11:30. Enjoy half of WS and then head back to FW to ride more rides. (In between my drinking around the world! )
Head to our ADR for Coral Reef at 6:10 pm. After that, head back to WS to see the things we haven't already!
Afterwards, we are heading to DTD to do some shopping!

Friday:
We have ADR's for Chef Mickey's at 8:30 am, but Chad and I might not go. Instead we might head to Universal Studios early so we can ride some rides and get finished before lunch! (We haven't been to US since 2002)
Head back to the hotel around 1 so we can rest and get refreshed for MVMCP that night! We plan on getting to the park right before 4, so that we can get right in at 4!

Saturday:
8:05 ADR at Crystal Palace!!
Then enjoy MK all day long!!

Thanks Nichole!!!! We are getting excited!! This will be our first ADR at Coral Reef! Plus, our first ride on Soarin!! I am really looking forward to that ride!

Hmmm, I might have to keep DH's step-dad away from the lapu lapu's!!
Chad just reminded me of what he did when we were in PCB this past September. I love Pineappe Willy's and they have a drink that I love called the Voodoo Brew. Well, unfortunately they don't make it anymore......but they have me the recipe!!! I am a master voodoo brew maker!! It contains 4 different flavored rums, a splash of pineapple, cranberry, and orange juice! Well, the step-dad was drinking that at the pool. We all went inside to get ready to go out to eat. well, no one knew where he was. Chad's granddad went outside and there was step-dad laid up in the chair like a mummy with a towel around him. WITH IT RAINING ON HIM!!! When pop (granddad) tried to wake him, he said, "Jim get up now and come inside. Its raining on you!" To which he replied, "I LOVE IT!" It was one of those moments where you had to be there. I will be watching him like a hawk at Epcot and at any bar!!!

Okay, so since this was PTR for our trip with Hollie, it is going to stay with that. Once I get back next week I will just add the link to this weeks trip.

So, on to February! I booked a new ADR this past week. We are going to go to Chef Mickey's for dinner on Friday, February 6th. We are excited since we have never been there for dinner!

The sea racers should be a blast, and the Lapu Lapu is famous here on the Dis!! Enjoy the Poly Luau and your time together as a couple.

I can't wait to hear how Chad likes the diver and menu at Coral Reef. Its a very cool dinner spot.

Friday looks like so much fun. Chef Mickeys, Universal and then MVMCP to end with. WOW!!!

We all love MK, so I know it will be magical. Give Mickey a hug from all of us Disers who miss him.

Just keep Step Dad away from those tasty cocktails and all will be well. Who knows, maybe it will be more of a "party" if you let him indulge.

Be careful as you drink yourself around the world...you don't want to fall into the lake.

Have a wonderful time, and be careful. Drive safe.

Get some sleep tomorrow night instead of being here on the DIS. 1 am is soo early. You will apreciate my advice.

so funny about chad's stepdad!!!! reminds me of my friend erin (she came with me to disney last september - i can't remember if you read that TR or not) and something she did once. about 10 of us rented a cabin in maggie valley, north carolina. this was back in 2000, so we were young (i was 24) and still partying a lot! anyway, the next morning i woke up and i couldn't find erin anywhere. after looking all around the cabin and in all the cars, i found what i thought was a big pile of blankets on a lawn chair out near the creek next to the cabin - erin was under them and she had been there all night! she said she liked hearing the creek while she slept. we were out in the WOODS! i can't believe she wasn't scared a bear would come attack her or something.

anyways, i'm excited about the lapu lapu that awaits you. i expect pictures!!!

by the way, if you think about it, pay attention to what time the castle lighting show is when you're there. it was 5:45 last year and now it's listed as 6:30 and i'm worried because we have a ressie at kona cafe at 6:20 on our MK day (which is when i'm gonna get MY lapu lapu!). thanks!

OH MY GOSH!!! That is hilarious!!! I remember her from your TR!!! I would have been so scared!! Even when we go to our lake house and stay in our campers, I am locking the top lock, bottom lock, etc. I get a little freaked out in the woods!! Erin is better than I am!! No creek is worth hearing out in the woods especially with critters around you!!!

I will have tons of pics including the lapu lapu! SO excited!!!!

I sure will check for you what time it starts!!
