The Superfamily February 2009!! We're taking on the world!! MAJOR UPDATE 1/7

So I was on punkin413's PTR and she was putting up old Disney pics. So............I am going to put some old pics up here to share!!


Now, when I first went to Disney it was in 1984. Now, my grandmother always said when her grandchildren turned 7 that she was going to take them to Disney. Now, here is the order of her grandkids. There is Leann, Adolyn (leann's sis), Me, Wes, Carrie (my sister), Jesse (Wes's bro), Josh, and then Amanda (Josh's sis). Whew.....now that is covered!

So, she took my cousin Leann when she was 7, but the ended up not having a good time. She was by herself with my grandparents and there friends and it was extremely hot! So, here comes 1984 and she decides that she was going to take Leann along with me and Adolyn. So, here are some pictures from our 1984 trip:

Now comes the trip in 1994. My grandmom took all of her other grandkids. Well, that left Amanda...when she was 7 there was no one to go with her. So, my sister being the next youngest girl, she was going to take her with her. My sister was in the marching band in our high school (she was a sophmore, I was a senior) She couldn't miss any days of school. So...I nominated myself. Me, Amanda, my mother, my grandmother and our Aunt Susan all went to Disney!!!! So...I now present you with some pictures from our 1994 trip:

Now....for our Disneymoon!!! Here are some pictures from it! They are a little depressing because I was a lot smaller than I am now! But, here they are for your viewing pleasure...........

This apparently was a rare picture to take! I asked the CM if we could get one with all 3. She told me they weren't allowed to do that. But, once the other people in the room were leaving, she held us back. She let us take a pic before they let anyone else in there. It was nice!!

Here I am in front of Mickey's house. Notice the little girl to my left...her mom stopped me after this picture. She said her little girl had been following me trying to ask me where I got "that pretty white hat!" She was so cute!!

I know, right!! Weren't they great!! Too bad you couldn't see the shoes I was wearing with them close up! They were red jellys!!!!!

I will have to post another one tomorrow from 1984. We were at SeaWorld and I was wearing a John Travolta from Staying Alive!

Cool trip down memory lane. Thanks for sharing. I think your Wedding ears are precious. What a great DH to wear them with you. He didn't look like Vanilla Ice in those pics at all. You both look very happy.

You will be able to do a look back at Hollie's Disney trips as the years pass along too. What a cute idea to make a book threw the years. I may have to do one for my kids. I'm sure they too will say "Mom what were you thinking when you dressed me in that"

Thank you! I know, I was so proud of him for wearing them! Now, if I could just get him to wear more ears down there! Yeah, he still gets people who tell him he looked like Vanilla Ice, but I thought his hair looked good!
I bought a couple of Disney scrapbooks to put her pictures in but I haven't even started it yet! I need to get on it. But, all of my pictures are on my kodak website and I really need to print them off!

Thanks!! I know I had a lot of fashion choices! Chad laughs when he sees my pictures with my big ole pink hoop earrings!!

The breakfast was basically the same thing it is now and it was at the same place. The only thing different was the characters!

Okay, so tonight for your viewing pleasure...I have some pictures from our wedding and other random pics!

This is what I wore while I was getting my hair and makeup done. Which, btw, I did my own makeup and I basically just had my hair pulled back from my face. No super fanciness from me!!

This was one of my favorite pictures. I really wasn't "doing" what it looks like. The photographer just thought it would be a cute pic!

Here we are at US in the Flintstones car!

This is when we first started dating in 1994!

Here we are in 1997 when we got back together. This was on Christmas Day

This was in 2000 at my great-grandmothers house for a family get-together

Now, we are HUGE, I mean HUGE Buffett fans! This was on the way to his concert in 2000. This was very early in the morning. We were there all day long and had the sunburn to prove it!

This is our sweet baby right after she was learning to walk. She was almost 9 months old!

I know, I want my hair long again so bad! But, it just won't grow right. It gets this weird flip at the bottom and drives me crazy!!!
Yes, we broke up after dating for 2 months and then got back together in August of 97. He had a brainfreeze!!
Me and my sister look nothing alike at all!! She favors more of my mom and I favor more of my dad.
