I love it! The family pictures are great! You guys got a lot of sun! Hollie is so stinkin' cute! I love the Hannah gown. Mine would want that too. How far is PCB away from you? How far is it from Disney? We might be going to that store to work. Will I like the place?

Did you read back in my TR? I get to see Gavin this coming weekend. But the next day is a family reunion w/ the monster in law. I really don't want to go. I can't fake sick though. We'd be leaving from Columbia to go to Charleston. I told Sidney we should just go right instead of left and enjoy the Mountain House for a couple of days. I love Charleston but I don't wanna hang w/ them!

BTW Joseph is a cutie pie. He'd look good with one (or maybe 2 ) of your BFF's. Then you'd have one, or both in the family. I'm trying to hook up my BFF with my cousin as we speak.

Thank you!!! I am so burnt!!! I forgot to put the sunscreen on myself, but I covered Hollie. The only thing that got burnt really bad on me was my face and my shoulders and back! Ouch!!!~!
PCB usually takes about 5 1/2 or 6 hours to get there. I think its about 7 hours from Disney.
I think you will like it!! The pier park, where they have the margaritaville, is really cool!! They have all kinds of shops and stuff there. The only thing I don't like is they tore down the amusement park a couple of years ago. They wanted to put up more condos, but now they aren't putting anything there. There is a water park there that is pretty cool!
I always wear my do-rag on the beach!! I have to keep my scalp from getting burnt!
I sure did miss it here!! I took my laptop and I couldn't get any service!! I was about to go in DT's!!!
I don't blame you for not wanting to hang with the in-laws!!!! Do Gavin instead!!
Joseph is a little cutie pie! He is really sweet! His dad is Chad's uncle. He passed away in 1999. He is the one that was in a gas explosion. The phone company cut his gas line and sewage line. The gas seeped into his house and as soon as he opened the door, the house blew up. He was at Grady Memorial Hospital's burn unit for 7 weeks before he died. He had 3rd degree burns on over 70% of his body!

Awww, thank you!!! You know, my 2 best friends who ate lunch with me down there. We always take a girls trip to PCB every year for the past 4 years. Well, they are both pregnant, so there will be no trip next year! I told Chad that I might just have to get some ladies on the disboard and head to disney for a girls trip!!

Hollie has finally decided to be Alice! So, I have the dress and the shoes and now I need to come up with something for me and Chad.

Oh my gosh, so is Hollie!! Well, she goes for 3 days but only in the morning until 11:30 am. It is still sad though! I cried like a baby that first day!! Does Lindsey like it?

Hey, I needed you there!!! But, that is the story of my life with her!!! I am just looking forward to our Disney trip with them in November!
If she hadn't paid for it and all, I would totally stay home!! I guess I can put up with the Wicked Witch of the West with going to Disney!!

Those are some wicked looking waves. Very powerful. I'm sure you could relate a little better to getting a small taste of what people in Texas got during the past few days. You can see it on TV, and it looks bad enough, but until you're really standing at any water that is getting rough, you really don't quite realize just how bad it must be. We got some pretty crazy winds around here yesterday, and we were all oohing and aahing at church as we blew in to the building, yet it was nowhere near what those people got. Makes you stop and think a little more about what those unfortunate people have been going through.

I love the pictures of Hollie on the beach in her nightgown. Those are precious.

I'm glad you managed to have a few good times in spite of some less than wonderful company. Looks like you had a good time with the girls! Just getting away from work and home is usually nice in itself.

Sorry about the inlaw trouble. Luckily it sounds like you did the best thing......ignore it as best you could and have a good time without her. I love the funny family pictures you take. They are all so cute. BTW, I've been to Pineapple Willies. When we were there we watched some guys kite surfing while we ate. That's pretty scary about somwone being in the water.

I love that you got to spend time with your girlfriends. That is so hard to do once you are married & have kids. I've been trying to schedule a girl's night with some old friends for about 3 months...never seems to work out

Those waves were terrible! As I was looking at them, I just felt so bad for the people in Texas! I prayed and prayed that night hoping that they wouldn't get hit too bad.

She would wear her night gowns to school if we let her! She loves nightgowns!

We did, we really should have went and got a hotel room instead of staying with them! We are making notes of it for next time!

We did and I have learned to just ignore her at all times!

Well, here is an update today!!
My MIL sent me an email and was nice today. Well, for those of you who don't know. We don't tell her we talk to DH's dad. When she knew about it last year, she was really ugly about it and just caused problems. To make a long story short, his dad quit talking to us for about 4 months. He had some problems of his own and just needed some time to sort them out. The way he is to us now, he is so loving!! We are very lucky to have them in our lives. Well, Chad and I decided at that time we didn't want her to know we had a relationship with them.
Well, she just point blank came out and asked if we saw them when we were in florida. I played stupid (which I can do really, really good. Almost too good to where it is scary to me! ) and I told her we saw his sister and brother. She asked me the same thing! I asked her why would she ask something like that and she said, "Because I wanted too. Thats why!" all hateful and stuff!! So, we are thinking she may have went through my camera while we were out swimming!!!
My mother thinks we need to just come out and tell her. But, the way she is, you pay for it and she makes you suffer!! She is kind of like Marie on Everybody Loves Raymond...she does something nice for you and you eventually have to pay for it!
