Speaking of Hollie, when I picked her up from the sitters Friday, she informed me that she saw something in her ear. I looked and looked and couldn't find anything....until later that night. I tried and tried to call the on-call nurse and never got anyone. I was so mad!!!
THank goodness her doctors office is open on Saturdays, so I took her there first thing. They flushed her ear with water and it wouldn't budge. Then the doc tried to stick this thing in her ear and get behind the bead and pull it out. It started to hurt her so he stopped. So, I have to take her to the ENT tomorrow because they can actually numb her ear canal so they can pull it out. But, my mom actually stuck a nose sucker (from when she was a baby!) in her ear and actually pulled it up closer to the entrance. I looked at it tonight and they should definately get it out tomorrow no problems. If I knew she would stay still, I would stick some tweezers in there and grab it, but I am not a professional so I am not attempting it!

passing thru to say HEY! Hope all goes smooth 2mrrow. Is she in any pain, or just hard of hearing right now Silly girl!

BTW I dont blame Chad for wanting to go over to universal...we were gonna try to go there after disney but we just cant afford it this year-- we will definitly be visiting US next year after or before our Disney trip.
They have some really cool lookin rides!

Poor Hollie. Don't you just wonder what kids are thinking when they stick things in their bodies? Like "hmmm this bead would look great IN my ear..."
My sister stuck green gum up her nose in church, when she was about 2, and my mom looked over and she was pulling it, stringingly, out of her nose.

good luck today with the ENT. what is it that's stuck in her ear? maybe i missed that. i had tubes put in my ears when i was 7. one fell out naturally but the doc had to take the other one out. i was afraid it was gonna hurt but he had these really cool tweezers that got it out with no problem - i didn't feel anything!

i'm doing a fridge swap in september. i've never done one before but the way it works is you find a fridge swap for your hotel by searching on the budget board, then see if your dates are available. if they are, you join the thread and tell them what dates you want. you have to send your reservation info to the person ahead of you and behind you in the swap. then you either have an in-person swap if possible or if that doesn't work out you can take the fridge (which will be in a box) up to guest services and ask them to hold it for so-and-so and then the next person will pick it up. it's pretty easy! oh, and if you're one of the first few people on the swap, you may have to pay a little money, but never more than like $10. this is to pay for the fridge.

Thats a great idea!! I will tell her to just think about Ariel and Melody!! She told us when we go in October she wants to ask Ariel where Melody is because she loves her!

We got an appointment today for Hollie's ear!!!!

But, the downside is its all the way in Atlanta!!!!! They tried to get a referal locally near us (we are about 40 minutes NW of Atlanta!) and they couldn't. So, we get to drive to Atlanta off of 285 for a 3:50 appointment. I sure hope they get that sucker out fast because I really don't want to sit in nice, wonderful Atlanta traffic after 5!

No way!! That is too funny! I bet we are close neighbors!! We live in the boonies, except it is starting to build up which I hate!! I have lived her my whole entire life and it's just getting bigger and bigger!

I know, my hubby hates Atlanta traffic! I will be ready to tell him to just shut up and drive!!

We live in the boonies, too, except that we moved here about 10 years ago -- I used to not even flinch driving through Atlanta, but this area has spoiled me -- I get impatient if I have to stop at two traffic lights in a row.

Yea, I always do the room only since Chad likes to sneak away to Universal Studios!!
I prefer to stay at the Disney parks, but he likes to go there. We are going to take Hollie 1 day and my mom wants to go ride E.T.!

But, when we go in November, I am staying at all Disney parks!! Whooo hooo!!

hopefully you're either already home or at least on your way. i hope you're not still sitting in traffic considering it's 7:30, but in atlanta you never know!!!
